An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

The Lone West invites you to experience and stay within the awe inspiring Eastern Mountain Sierras. Unobstructed views take your gaze over the expansive cattle ranch leading you to the foot of Mount Langley, Mount Whitney, Horseshoe Meadows, Mount Williamson and more. Where the cattle graze in the morning sunlight, and the coyote howls at heavens magical twilight, the life on the Lone Hunter Ranch has its way of taking you to the land before time. Handcrafted Hideaway Near Mendocino

Our cabin is nestled among redwood trees a few miles from the wild Pacific Ocean, historic Mendocino, and the Anderson Valley wine country. A place to relax, recharge, or finish a creative project. Bookings include Mendocino County tourism tax. No pets due to wildlife, and host allergies. Note: bear, fox, hawks, quail, bats, lizards, banana slugs, bobcat, spiders are part of the forest ecosystem and may occasionally visit the vicinity.
