I am so happy to help you make your visit a memorable one. The guesthouse is set among oak trees at top of a hill in rural Atascadero. Restaurants, a cinema, and a shopping center in town are a short drive away. See the animals at the Charles Paddock Zoo, then go for a hike at Stadium Park. We are a bit off the beaten path so you will need to get around by car or Uber or Lyft. We have plenty of parking space available. My 9 year old Golden Retriever, Theo and his pal, my orange cat named Mango, will probably greet you upon arrival. They both love attention but are not allowed inside the guest house in case anyone has allergies. They look forward to meeting you! :)

Three parks within 4 miles encompass over 20 miles of hiking/biking. The Russian River, Redwoods, and Sonoma Coast are only a short, panoramic drive away.

We call our place Casita Pacifica (Peaceful Little House) as this suite is a mellow and relaxing retreat, yet in a San Diego suburb only 10-20 minutes from everything. Sadly, we no longer host peacocks, but our space is decorated in memory of their majestic energy. Our standards are high when we travel, so we created a suite that we'd love to stay in ourselves: stocked with goodies, things to do, recommendations, privacy, comfort & above all - cleanliness. Montgomery Vineyard

Montgomery Vineyard was once part of the oldest dairy farm in San Luis Obispo County. The unique accommodations offers guests an eclectic décor of antiques and memorabilia from behind the camera in Hollywood. The views from the large, private deck are of the vineyard and the vineyard covered hills beyond. It is a lovely, relaxing place to enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine made from the grapes grown in Montgomery Vineyard. Beautiful Avila Beach is just down the road.
