Welcome to your private room overlooking the garden in our friendly shared home, a perfect base for events at the NEC or the city. We live in an Edwardian townhouse in a residential suburb of Birmingham with 2 cats. There's free street parking and easy train and bus links to the City Centre and Solihull. You can get to the NEC by bus in half an hour or by car in 20 minutes, or by train, if you change at Birmingham Moor Street then go to Birmingham International from Birmingham New Street.

Double Room2 with free parking

My place sits in great proximity to the public transport (5 min to the Longbridge train station and 2-3 min to bus stops) and to the Longbridge shopping centre with big Sainsbury's, M&S, Boots, Poundland, pubs, etc. You get the room with a double bed, access to the kitchen, shower room with a toilet in and 3 gardens around the house. In the kitchen use the fridge, microwave, washing machine (once a week if your stay lasts 7days or more), kettle. You get keys for the front door and your room.

Cosy Bedroom with Private Bathroom & Breakfast

A cosy bedroom on the first floor of our home with a private bathroom (not en suite), with shower and access to our kitchen, self-serve breakfast included. Short walk to railway and bus stations giving great access to the City Centre (10 minutes by train). Lidl 2 mins walk. 16min drive to Birmingham Airport. Short walk to Acocks Green Village Centre with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Please note we have a toddler born in April 2022 so cannot guarantee a completely quiet night!

As a host, I'm easy-going and love welcoming people into my home. Kings Heath is a great neighbourhood, offering great parks, a bustling high street and easy access to Birmingham city centre. It's easy to get to by car and public transport. My spare room is upstairs, and right next to the shared bathroom. You are also welcome to use the kitchen, living room, garden and piano during your stay. If there's anything you need, just ask and I'll do my best to help.
