We stayed in the home for 2 weeks and just checked out yesterday. We definitely recommend this Hilversum home. The home is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. The home is spacious, clean, private and very comfortable. Hilversum, Netherlands is a nice quaint town with plenty of diverse restaurants, shopping stores and very insteresting walks. Plus, Amsterdam is only 20 minutes away via train from the Hilversum train station and France is only 4hrs away via train as well. If I were to move to Netherlands, Hilversum is where I would live. If you have small children and/or pets you will need a gate to block the stairs to the bedroom downstairs. The steps are very steep and a potential fall hazard.

One of the best places we've tried! Clean, identical to the photos and very functional, it was just perfect! The host is very welcoming and very concerned about the well-being of his guests, it is very appreciated. In addition, the ease of access to public transportation to Amsterdam is also an asset. I recommend +++! 😊
