Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The summerhouse is simple and personalized. Still with some of the 67 atmosphere when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3000m2) in a protected summerhouse area, close to Gudenåen with access to common area with a bathing bridge and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø, and the heather hills are just around the corner. Because of this, there is an annex that we have on our own for our products. The outside is a pottery maker and Anne Mette is a weaving. We live (and work) ourselves in the house next door and are always available when we are home.

From the apartment's own terrace you can follow the life of the lake in a wealth of different birds, and everything from kayaks to ferries. Beautiful hiking, MTB trails, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus , the station is only 400 meters from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment. Wi-Fi 👍

The apartment consists of an entrance hall, kitchen-living room, bathroom with shower and washing machine, bedroom with 2 single beds and desk. In the kitchen-living room, there is an extra bed for 2 people on the sofa bed. Close to Sdr. Ege beach and Siim forest. Ry is the "capital" of Denmark's most beautiful and wild nature in the middle of Søhøjlandet. There are opportunities for canoeing and kayaking, fishing, hiking, exciting mountain biking, racing bikes. At the residence, there is equipment for washing bicycles and indoor storage of the same.

Cozy guest house with kitchen, bathroom on the ground floor and two living rooms with a bed and room on the first floor. There is plenty of space and great views. Original stand with old carpets and a few punctured windows. The location is top notch for bike and hiking in the Lake Highlands. 5 km to Himmelbjerget through the forest. 1.5 km to Ry station and the cozy harbor. The stairs are steep but with doors that can be closed if there are small children. We have had many great vacation experiences with airbnb and want to welcome!

Cozy Annex in the middle of beautiful Ry

Small annex located in the garden. There is a bathroom, a loft and living room with a small kitchenette. The kitchen includes hot plates and combination oven, as well as a coffee maker. Hemsen has a great view, especially in the evening where beautiful sunsets and stars can be seen. There are 2 mattresses on the loft, and the possibility of a third. There is a sofa bed in the living room where two people can sleep. It is possible to borrow an air mattress and travel bed, just write. Note, there is NO wifi coverage.

This unique place is located in the middle of the vast forests of Søhøjlandet on a hike - and the bike route between Silkeborg and Ry, close to the MTB track "Denmark's roof". It is 200 meters to Julsø, 4 km to Himmelbjerget and 3 km to Denmark's cleanest lake Slåensø. The place exudes Scandinavian style, which sets the stage for both stays in nature while providing beautiful and charming amenities. If you want to combine a nature stay with cultural experiences, you are only 35 km from Aarhus and 14 km to Silkeborg.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

The Yellow House by the Forest

The perfect starting point for hiking, MTB and other activities in Søhøjlandet. The house is not far from Himmelbjerget and the MTB track Denmark's Tag. We are happy to share hiking routes from the house on Topo GPS. The house has 2 bedrooms with one and two beds respectively. In addition, a bed in the living room, where there is also the possibility of bedding on a sofa or mattress.
