Monthly Rentals in Rough Close

This is a great place to stay with lots of things to do nearby. We visited before a trip to the Emma Bridgewater factory which was super convenient. The property was lovely and clean and just as described. It was really good to find a mattress topper for the sofa bed as I was worried that it would be uncomfortable. I needn’t have worried. There was plenty of crockery etc., but we did find that the quality of the pans was a bit problematic when trying to heat through a bolognese that we’d made at home! The kitchen was really clean and well organised. We had a bit of an issue with not being able to get hot water upstairs, but this was really quickly resolved with a visit from the host - very impressive at 9am on a Sunday morning, thank you. I’d really recommend this property. For us it would’ve been beneficial to have a second toilet/WC but it wouldn’t put me off booking again.

Stayed just one night here to spend time in the Peak District however there was 5 of us and 2 dogs so finding somewhere that was affordable was difficult! However Bernadette’s place exceeded expectations! Nice little touch with the cake & it literally had everything we needed. Really comfortable stay. Thankyou for having us!

I booked for a stay with my Sister, Niece and Nephew for a visit to Alton Towers Resort, which is around half an hour away. The house is excellent, we felt right at home straight away and the information booklet was useful. It was a great base for us and with a lot of shops (absolutely massive Tesco for instance) and a lot of takeaways just minutes away. The house was comfortable and the bathroom was amazing! The bath is huge and was greatly enjoyed! The house was clean and absolutely perfect for our needs, and there were some essentials and snacks around when we arrived, which was nice as we could have a cup of tea when we arrived. Maxine was a great host, very friendly and was quick to respond to any questions, and check-in/check-out was super easy. I would definitely stay again!
