Monthly Rentals in Rotorua

A gorgeous little garden cottage on the outskirts of Rotorua but within easy driving of all the local attractions. It had everything needed for a short stay. Bronwyn was extremely helpful after our rental car got a flat tyre assisting in making a phone call on our behalf.

The perfect spacious place to spend a couple of days while we explored the area. Loved all the windows which let in lots of light, plus the lake view from the living area was pretty special. We felt very at home during our stay, the airbnb is filled with curated artwork, books and good furniture pieces, that seem made for the space. There was a big comfy sofa, plus a basket full of dry firewood (much appreciated, as the weather cool and rainy during our visit). The full kitchen is well equipped, and included a coffee machine, although the local store by the Falls does a good coffee too. We'd love to come back during summer to explore the region further. Thanks for having us to stay.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely perfect. We got a bit unlucky with the weather but the stay was super cosy and David and Christina couldn’t have been more helpful with suggestions. It’s an amazing accommodation option and we could have easily stay so much longer. It was perfect for the days we wanted to do nothing but read and laze in the outdoor bath (complete with umbrella for when it was raining) and equally ideal for the end of an active day when we just wanted to get back late and get a good night’s sleep. The location is perfect - the lake is walkable and there are incredible natural sights only minutes’ drive away. It’s also well located for other central north island activities, such as blackwater rafting and Hobbiton. Plus, Christina’s baked treats on arrival had to be carefully rationed to not eat them all in one go! We can’t wait to come back again.

We loved this place and wish we could have stayed longer. It was peaceful, comfortable, and private. A great place to relax, but also close to things to do. We got caught in some nasty weather while we were there, and the home was cozy throughout. Our hosts very helpfully allowed us to stay a few hours late on our last day to avoid the roads in a downpour and gale-force winds as the storm passed, which was their suggestion and very kind of them to offer.
