Apartment holiday rentals in Ronco sopra Ascona

Very nice accommodation on Lake Maggiore. For us, the accommodation was primarily for the evening, as we were out and about during the day, but it worked well. On the balcony, you can have breakfast together and end the evening very well. The area has a lot to offer, unfortunately the public pool was not yet filled during our stay. Nevertheless, the hiking routes around it are very beautiful. It is very easy to reach by car - from the car park you only have to walk a very short distance.

We had a great stay! The check-in was super easy and straightforward, which allowed us to have a stress-free start. The apartment was very clean and well maintained – you immediately felt comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the location: in just a few steps, you are directly on the promenade. A big plus was also the parking lot right next to the apartment. Communication with the hosts was quick and friendly. We would come back anytime!

This place is amazing! Super tranquil, excellent view, location is superb. Birgitt and her co host are very kind and easy to communicate with. The house is stunning and has so much character and charm. I’d come back anytime.

We had 2 days of rest and relaxation. The apartment has everything and is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The pool on the balcony was the highlight for us ;) We'd love to come back!

Already upon arrival we realized: We will not visit this place for the last time! The four days here were just amazing. Katja and Alfredo took care of our well-being with a lot of warmth and attention. The apartment is a dream – lovingly decorated, immaculately clean, well equipped and with an incredibly comfortable bed. We slept wonderfully, it was wonderfully quiet. You can immediately feel that Katja and Alfredo know what real hospitality means. Even the loving welcome gifts have shown how welcome we are here. For us there are more than five stars – a heartfelt thank you and: ci vediamo!

We felt very comfortable in Matina's apartment. The location is perfect for walks and swimming in the Maggia or Melazza - which our dog also liked. We'd be happy to come back!

Chri & Pat were excellent hosts and they were very communicative with us throughout the booking process. The flat was clean and the view is simply amazing.

We felt very comfortable. In good weather, the view was fantastic and the garden was super beautiful. Rebecca was always very helpful and responded quickly. Despite the bad weather, we had a nice holiday. We would definitely come back!😊

Valentina's apartment is very clean and beautiful. The view of Lake Maggiore is fantastic. We were there at the beginning of June and it was really quiet at night, you could sleep with the windows open. Everything is in walking distance. A parking space would be helpful, but you read in the description that there is no parking space and no air conditioning, so you know in advance. We would come back, for us it was the perfect, small apartment! 💖 Thank you Valentina! 🥰

Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

Sandro is a very friendly host. Communication was easy and fast. If there were any questions, he also called quickly to explain everything. Everything was as described and clean. The apartment contains no unnecessary furnishings and is very clearly structured. The whole apartment is tastefully and newly furnished. Also the bathroom is very nicely made. But we liked the balcony and the view best. You can see the lake from the balcony. The lake is also very quick to reach. Fortunately, it had been very quiet at night. This means you can also leave the window open on warmer nights. What is also very good for guests with an electric car is the charging station around the corner. Just 210 metres away is a BMW dealer with a 150KWh charging station. That was, of course, super practical.

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

The apartment was homey, very clean and well equipped. The kitchen, in particular, offers many possibilities. The outdoor area is very well maintained and the view is breathtaking. Due to the fact that the apartment is located on a slope, the walk to the village is of course a bit exhausting, but still quite doable. Monika was quick to reach and always warm and helpful.

The host Andrea was really very nice and always helpful. He was quick to respond to messages. I can really only recommend it. Varenna is very easy to reach by bus/shuttle bus. It was as described in the photos :)

Amazing host , felt right at home from the second we met, perfect dog made everything much much more pleasant luca gave us great advices as well always present and respectful we enjoyed our stay hopefully we come back soon .

Great and clean place, in the middle of city centre. quit at night and the best location for all Como's activities and shops. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved this place. What more can I say that hasn’t been said? The view is outstanding. You’re very high up the mountain. One morning we there was low lying clouds above the lake … and we were looking down on it from above the clouds. Clean and contemporary design, with a comfortable bed. You’ll need a car! The garage is very tight, so rent a smaller car. And getting there from Varenna involves a drive up a narrow winding road. It was fun drive … for me, at least.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊
