Our beautiful guest house is located in scenic Gjern Bakker in the middle of Søhøjlandet with the nature trail right outside the door. There is a private entrance from a private parking space to the cozy and spacious house. The house has a nice living room, high-speed internet and TV. You don't have to share the house with anyone else. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, air fryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker, 2 hobs. Instant coffee and tea bags. There is access to a small terrace in the berry garden through the door in the kitchen. Access to room 2 is via the stairs in the room.

You have entrance from the garden side, private living room with a small French country kitchen, private bathroom and toilet as well as a bedroom with a good 140 cm wide bed. You are very welcome to use the garden, where there is the possibility of both entertainment and relaxation. There are several cozy corners with garden furniture that you are very welcome to use, just as there is a fireplace and barbecue. If you come in an electric car, you can charge it with us.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Jump into the lake from the boat bridge and rinse yourself in hot water overlooking Himmelbjerget. Take your kayak and sail a morning trip and meet the heron. Newly renovated large and bright room on 1st floor with fantastic views (and with the possibility of 2 extra beds in addition to double bed) and newly renovated smaller room with vaulted ceilings on the ground floor - also with nice views and double bed. There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" cosiness with a large screen, a game of foosball or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There's a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Centrally located between Silkeborg, Randers, Viborg and Aarhus. 2.2 km to Ans lake shore where there is the possibility of swimming, sailing and fishing. There are plenty of activities within a few kilometers, including Tange Sø Golf Club, Ans Circle Walk route, a mountain bike ride in the forest, Tange Elmuseet.
