After a busy week sightseeing Roberto’s place was a wonderful place to relax. We felt welcomed and cared for. Roberto’s parents are a delight and it was our favourite place to stay. Mille grazie!

Spacious, beautiful, clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed and great shower. Convenient location to reach and park, quiet and peaceful. The center of Castiglione is a few minutes away by foot. In short, everything is perfect.

Denise's place in Castiglione d'Orcia was like staying in a fairy tale. The 7th century fortress/castle behind her place was the back wall of the terrace. And the views looking east overlooked all that one would think of when you think of Tuscany. Every morning I got up and took pictures of the amazing sunrise over the rolling green hills with rows of silver cypress lining dirt roads. Her place is at the top of the hill, right in the middle of the medieval village. You could meander through the medieval pathways imagining you are in a time gone by. It did help keep us in shape staying here because there are a lot of steep uphill walks and lots of stairs, though it is possible to bypass most of them, taking the longer route down to the main piazza. The furnishings also were comfortable and nice, yet period appropriate. Staying here is like living in a history book!
