Furniture built from locally sourced trees for a beautifully crafted, rustic finish. Swing in a hammock or egg chair and indulge in a bit of star gazing. Watch the surrounding wildlife by the log burner or gather by the fire pit. Head ito Exmoor or Dartmoor & enjoy the many walks/bike rides; surf or explore the beaches. It's a cosy, airy space - complete with wood-burning stove, pizza oven and fully-equipped kitchen - with great views over National Trust land. The Hut is perfect for those wanting to escape the big smoke, to chill in front of the fire, bird watch, walk, swim at secluded beaches or travel country lanes to enjoy this wilder patch of the English countryside and coastline.

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

Little Buckland Cottage

Nestled in the Devon countryside, very rural, with narrow lanes. 15 minutes from the delights of RHS Rosemoor and within easy reach of beaches, Dartmoor and a little further along is Exmoor. Fishing on the river Torridge is close by and the Tarka Trail for keen cyclists is within an easy bike ride. The cottage (adjacent to our house) overlooks our fields and woodland. Keen amateur mycologists will be in heaven at this time of year. Our woodland is teeming with fungi! Come and explore!!

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Valle Vue is a quite rural warm cosy place, on the end of the bungalow with is own private entrance, private off road parking right outside, A King sized bed with adjoining en-suite, & a separate WC. The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
