I was so pleased with this wonderful place! Very clean, beautiful, and felt like home! Ms. Katherine couldn’t have been more kind. We adored her! She went above and beyond to give us an easy and great experience! I am so thankful!

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

John is very friendly and always immediately available by phone or in person. The location of the house is great and is very central. Shopping, restaurants and the lake are just a few minutes away. It is very well maintained and clean.

The location where the cottage is located is really nice! You have a great view of the Säntis and can start hiking directly from the accommodation. The accommodation was as described, only the curtains were a little too translucent for us. We were on site with two dogs and felt very comfortable :-)

Everything was great, it’s a really cozy apartment and the host was very helpful.

Petra responded very quickly and well to questions. We felt very comfortable in the old, Swiss house with a beautiful furnishings. The location is nice and quiet and from there you can quickly get to the sights in Appenzellerland. We loved it.

We had a great week in Judit’s house with our three children. The house is very comfortable, cosy and clean, and located in a beautiful village in the hills. It is in an excellent location for exploring the Bodensee region and the Alps in both Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein. Judit is an extremely responsible and friendly host who provides great local advise for the area. We warmly recommend this house to other guests!

Despite the rainy weather, we had an exciting Pentecost weekend in Appenzell, thanks to the many activities the six children could enjoy. Looking for wood and making a fire to warm up from the bath and bake the homemade baguettes - it was never boring!

I was with a friend and my dog in Valdenia's apartment. It is fantastic. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and very clean and personally furnished. The garden is huge and a dream. Well maintained and Mediterranean. We felt very comfortable. The small gestures like fresh eggs and a dog bed are very thoughtful. It is completely consistent. Thank you.

A very nice and cute little cabin close to nature. The area offers many things if you want to explore the Swiss countryside. We really enjoyed our time here! And the host, René is very communicative and suggested many things to do and places to eat. The only thing we would’ve like to know before booking was that there is another rental house right next to the cabin with room for many people and the cabin is in the garden of this house. So privacy is difficult if both houses are booked at the same time. We were lucky to be alone.

I only give the place 5 out of 5 stars, where it would have earned much more. The place is much nicer than you see in the photos. The host is super friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend it. Thanks a bunch

A beautiful apartment with upscale amenities and a cozy terrace overlooking the mountains 😊 We felt very comfortable here and made many beautiful excursions to the Swiss and Austrian mountains. Thanks to Irina also for the good tips and for letting us stay here with our dogs 👍

Everything was great, from arrival to departure and accessibility of the host. Recommended.

The apartment smelled incredibly good and the reception was very warm. The three of us arrived with 3 dogs, which was also spontaneously no problem to add a person + dog. In addition, blankets, bowls and stuffed animals were provided for the dogs.

Stellad place was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

From the moment we booked Thomas was proactive in reaching out and utterly charming. One of our group had to arrive early and they were very helpful with arranging that. His family next door were friendly and helped us choose somewhere to eat on our final day. Bonus cats in the neighbourhood and glorious decor.
