This beautiful and private holiday home is set on a peaceful little farm surrounded by native bush with panoramic wide open views. Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.

All overlooking green farmland and occasionally a few noisy bulls. I am sorry but this unit is not suitable for children or infants.
