Our family has lived here since 1890, and we have a wonderful guest cottage sitting on the high bank with 180-degree views of Saratoga Passage, Mount Baker, and the North Cascades. With 900 square feet of open living area, a fireplace, full kitchen, washer/dryer, king size bed, high speed internet, 2 TV's, beautiful furnishings and easy access to the beach it's the perfect get-away!

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Completely separate and private guest suite walking distance to downtown Winslow (1/2 block), the ferry (.6 miles), the harbor and the 8.5 acre Moritani Preserve (1 block) away Easy access via a code. I am always available for questions.. I live in the main house in the front but you will have complete privacy. It's a very safe area and people are warm and friendly.
