Holiday rentals with a kayak in Puerto Plata

This is the second time that we have stayed in this location. Nayelyn's associate Richie who handled the interaction with us was great again as always. Extremally helpful and very quick with responses. The apartment is located on a large beautiful end lot overlooking undeveloped land on one side which offers very enjoyable undisturbed privacy. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. The property is located in Perla Marina, a gated community which is a great walkable area and direct access to a beautiful quiet beach. There are also several very good restaurants within this community offering a wide range of food choices. The community is approximately halfway between Sousa and Cabarete. We love the beach in Cabarete and the large amount of different dining options both on and off the beach there.

I really enjoyed my first visit to the DR at Alex’s place. The resort was great for families and people of all ages. It was quite large, but there were shuttles that ran regularly if you wanted to explore the grounds. VIP was okay- you will never get a buzz off the all inclusive alcohol lol so don’t go for the drinks! It is very close to the ocean and if you don’t mind all the harassment from the resort you can have a good time. They want you to buy, and in order to enjoy most of the real VIP treatment, you have to buy. I thought this place was great for families and if you are a smoker, it’s paradise. Smoking is allowed, but it is not overwhelming if you are a non-smoker because everything is in the open. I would come back for the overall value- the service was great for the most part, and I met lots of locals, Canadian and American tourists who made my stay more enjoyable. Alex was responsive to questions pretty quickly.

Stefan was wonderful and highly responsive during our stay with him. He helped us with ideas for places to eat and local spots to check out. The apartment is fantastic with a breathtaking view and a deck over the beach. You can hear the waves from the very comfortable bed. Worth every penny.

The place was as listed and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment is well furnished and the kitchen equipped with what you need for preparing simple meals. Location is great: in a front row building with immediate access to the beautiful Playa Dorada. The hotel complex offers different pools and a number of activities, including shows in the evening, while the beach area is more quiet and peaceful. The hotel surroundings were safe and included a golf course, a small mall and a few restaurants all within walking distance, but for a charge, you can also eat at the onsite hotel restaurants. We had a car to explore places on the island and there was always enough free parking available. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit to the Dominican Republic very much. We definitely recommend this apartment and thank Cesar for his hospitality!
