Hector is an excellent host, the place was more beautiful in person. The personal at the place was so helpful and friendly. Hector helps us with everything that we need.

We were extremely well received by William who introduced us to the place, offered coffee and some local specialties (fried platanas, leche dulce drink), a treat, thank you again! The only downside was the location, nothing less than 5 minutes by car. You have to be transported to enjoy. And there is the construction of a house next door, starting work from 8 a.m., a little noise in the morning, but not so disturbing. I spent my best nights and evenings in this charming lodge, surrounded by birds, chickens, rabbit and a cute little cat. I would highly recommend it!

We liked the stay because of location, it is like 2 minutes walk from the historical centre. Breakfast was included and delicious. You can choose between american and dominican one and both are great. But the real highlight here is the rooftop bar, literally few steps from your room doors. You'll get a decent selection of comidas y bebidas here, both delicious. Parking was fun, I parked just in the nearest crossroad to quickly check-in and repark better afterwards, to be assured by the stuff, it is already completely fine. Dominicans.. :) Recommended!

Great location and excellent price! What we needed for the weekend

It is a room with all amenities, kitchenette, a good king size bed, AC, TV, wifi works well, excellent hospitality, very good communication with the host, it is also very comfortable that check-out is at 1:00 PM, something that is not common to find. Excellent profit cost. I recommend it.

Cozy mini resort with a beautiful garden, a large swimming pool, and a small beautiful beach nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Feels like being in a private villa! Definitely be back.

Joba Inn is a beautiful hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. They have great coffee in the morning. In the mornings is a little noisy with the traffic but it all depends where you room is located. At night there is a lot of music and movement outside but after 11pm it gets quiet even on the weekends. The pool is very clean and it has amazing views of the mountains. I would stay here again.

The property is located within mere minutes walking from the beach and minutes by car to 2 surrounding towns. The host is friendly and assuring to welcome hosts in a superbly managed environment. Best value in El Encuentro.
