Texas Wine Country Hilltop Glamping an Adventure a

ChloeRating, 5 stars54 months ago
An amazing piece of heaven. Peaceful, great views, stunning tents, private, great for social distancing with friends or family. Very well appointed and thought out. Definitely our favorite glamping site yet! And so many wineries, distilleries, brewers and cider houses to enjoy nearby. Take the drive through Pedernales State Park if you're coming from Austin to get into the mood. Thanks Jan and Cianna.

Yurt #1 with A/C + Fire Pit, NEW Discounted Rates

UdayanRating, 5 stars23 months ago
The location is just as described. The yurt was pretty comfortable thanks to the fans and air conditioning. The kitchen was stocked and even grilling material was aplenty. There were smore sticks as well. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Nearby, there is great Texan bbq and horse riding. Highly recommend.

Living Rock Campsite #1

EmmaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

Living Rock Campsite #2

MistyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The camping grounds are just outside of downtown on the hill overlooking the sunset in the evenings. At night it can get extremely windy. The bathrooms are very tidy and convenient. The land is well kept and the host, Marc is very helpful and friendly. I would love to return to this spot again in the future.

Yurt #2 with A/C + Fire Pit, NEW Discounted Rates

ColinRating, 5 stars36 months ago
We had a blast at Green Acres! We happened to be the only people there and had it all to ourselves! This was our first time glamping and even in with temperatures in the mid 90s - the shade and the yurt were still cool enough to enjoy, and the yurt got down right nice and cold at night! We wondered into town for some breakfast, and again later for some BBQ but couldn't help but just fully relax out at the camp site. We cant imagine a better escape/unplug and recharge. We were immersed in nature, and even if it were a busy weekend, the way the sites are set up feel individual and private/secluded. Everything was clean and set up/ready to go. We cant wait to return for our next get away.

Hill Country Glamping & Complimentary Wine Tasting

Erica Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I had a great time at this Airbnb. The host was very friendly upon arrival and gave us local food recommendations in the area. They walked us to our tent and ensured we were well taken care of. The tent was well kept and although hot at first, once the AC got going, the tent cooled down nicely. The weekend visited we had the place to ourselves, so at night it was a little spooky if I’m being honest. I would expect though during peak season this would be a great place to visit, meet others, and enjoy the outdoors and some good wine. Overall, a great experience and would definitely like to come back and visit again!

Stargazer Phoenix

SoyeonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I just admire how much effort they put into building this place and maintaining it. So many detailed instructions in the stargazer make it very easy to use things at the site. It was disappointing that the host doesn't do anything other than sending me some auto-generated messages. I had to call the emergency number because it was pitch black outside and we couldn't get around without the site map she said we'll be able to find in their listing photos. We couldn't find anywhere so I sent her messages. She wouldn't answer anything and just sent me another auto-generated message about how to check-out. The guy who answered the phone came to our stargazer to explain where to find things!! He's amazing and we were so grateful. We liked our experience overall but wouldn't recommend our Phoenix stargazer to anyone since the window rattles and squeaks a lot, you can hear all the car noises, and it somehow has a smaller(?) mood-light than others. I'd recommend the one more inside.

Glamping Tres Regalos - Teepee 1

AlejandroRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place is amazing! Beds are super rich, comfortable, smell delicious! We love to have our morning coffee contemplating the sunrise (each room has a courtesy Nespresso machine and capsules). Bathrooms even when shared are perfectly clean. The hammocks and the star viewpoint is something you can't miss at night. We'll definitely be back, but this time with everything you need to enjoy the grill and campfire area…

Stargaze Suite - Festival Tent - Glamping

VasundharaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Pros: The place was amazing. We had a great experience glamping. We did star gazing and had a comp fire on. The portable toilets were clean. The tent was super comfortable and big enough to keep our stuffs inside. They have carts near parking which is a great help to carry our stuffs. Although the temperature was 90 during the day , it can still get very cold during the night. Cons: The trash cans were full and we had no place to put the trash. Since it windy some of the trash was all over the place even before we arrived.

Cozy bell tent with great views of Ortiz Mtns

HiramRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a stress relief and pleasant environment, Michael and Susan are such great hosts, they are very attentive but they give you privacy! I loved the tent, I slept so good and my dog was so happy running around. It has a beautiful trail near the tent, great for a morning walk. I strongly recommend the burrito breakfast, as a mexican born in the city where the burrito is our preferred meal, I can say that Susan's was one of the best I've ever had! I loved the whole experience!

Eagles Nest was very nice and very peaceful. Other visitors mentioned they had music playing but we did not hear a thing. It was also very clean. Slept the opposite way in the bed as it was much cooler. I would definitely go back.

Tree Line Vista at Estes Preserve

DeborahRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The Treeline Vista is perfect for a restful personal renewal or a fun family weekend. The trails are varied in woods, prairies and sun and shade. Deer are everywhere. It's fun to hear the coyotes yipping after dusk and the barn owls hooting. Don't worry, the wildlife won't come near you. It's perfectly safe. The private bath house is wonderful for a hot shower after a day on the trails. They have a high-end composting toliet which is civilized enough for people afraid of "going in the woods" and is environmentally responsible. The fire pit is far enough away from the tent to keep it from smelling like smoke. Picnic table, lounge chairs, patio table and chairs + rocker outside. Two comfortable chairs, cozy bed and a double twin trundle bed, plus a chest of drawers full of goodies for the kids to explore nature. Also, large sink, plates, bowls and every kind of utensils are available for use. I just can't think of a better down to earth glamping experience than Estes Preserve.

Luxe Safari Inside Animal Sanctuary w/AC & River

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary. It was exactly what we wanted. About an hour and a half outside of Austin. Just a beautiful “glamping” experience. Our dogs loved it as well. We can’t wait to come back.
