We had a great time at Eija's place. It's as nice as the pictures suggest and a good starting place for exploring northern Finland. As a general tip, I'd recommend traveling by car, then you can easily reach several national parks and other sights in the area, as well as Rovaniemi. The area is calm, the frozen lake and snowy scenery make for a serene retreat. Eija was always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Comfortable apartment in a quiet area. Blackout curtains were needed at night, but otherwise everything was fine 👌🏻

This was already our second visit to Päivi's home. Beautiful, functional and peaceful place. The weather was not favourable, but we were still able to enjoy the balcony and the view. I was able to park the car effortlessly. Thanks again!

A great studio with a great location! The accommodation was smooth with good instructions and I also appreciated the tips on parking spaces. I would have liked to stay longer and I will certainly keep it in mind if/when I return to Oulu.

Very peaceful and cozy apartment. There was plenty of dishes, but there was also room in the kitchen for the guest's own. Good mirrors in the toilet and hallway for party preparation. There was room for a bigger car on the street.

A peaceful and pleasant place to stay. The area was beautiful, it was nice to be outside by the sea. Excellent location, easy access to the center. Kati was very friendly and the communication went very well. A special plus for the instructions in the apartment and the pair of coffee and restaurant recommendations. I went to both and loved them! I could stay again!

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Staying in the retro house was nice and smooth and the house was cozy and child and dog friendly. The location of the house and the landscape along the Kiiminkijoki river is beautiful and it is a short distance to the services in the village centre. The accommodation is particularly suitable for a former local who wants to spend time in the familiar home region of Kiiming instead of the centre of Oulu.

Markus home was wonderful rural location with nice house, beautiful lake to swim in, and big sauna. we would come back again!

Hannu welcomed us like we were part of their esteemed guests circle, and showed us around their beautiful domain. We were extremely pleased by our stay in Hannu's house. 100% recommended !

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

We spent over a week at Andre's place and it's a true winter paradise! House is super cozy and warm. Kitchen has everything you may need. Beach sauna and hot tub were a heaven after a cold, snowy day outside. We also were very lucky to see the most bright, beautiful and strong aurora just above the house, that made our stay very special. Andre was very helpful and responsive ❤️

Spacious, cozy, well-equipped place by the lake. Another cabin pretty close and not too much of a sight in between. Overall a positive experience!

Nice apartment with a nice terrace, a nice bed and wonderful bedding.

Clean and new apartment. It was easy to find and free Parking nearby. Very clear instructions from Johannes. All the needed amenities for studio apartment. Small details like fan, phone charger and drying rack was good addition. For the price there can't be better accomodation.

The accommodation was even more beautiful and comfortable than in the pictures! The rooms were personal and beautiful and everything, including the flowers, was ready for us. The accommodation is well equipped, really neat and in an insanely nice place by the sea, but in a sheltered yard. Mari was the perfect host and always responded quickly and super friendly, everything was arranged with her without complications! We bathed in a wonderful seascape, with great steam in the tree sauna. The whole yard and the surroundings were beautiful and well maintained, you could have stayed here for as long as you wanted!
