There is no shower, but well water comes inside the sauna. Drinking water is brought in. The toilet is an outdoor toilet and there is a chamber pot inside if necessary

Located directly on the river bank, next to the noise of the rapids, it guarantees a unique and relaxing atmosphere – here, light pollution is an unknown concept. The gentle steam of the courtyard sauna and the wood-burning stove relaxes the body and mind. ​The cottage is ideal for four (4) people.

Liepeen pappila

It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday destination. Liepeen pappila is located in the Iijoki river's Kurenkoski area, surrounded by meadows, just a short walk from the center's services. The rectory was built in 1844 and has been the place of work and residence of numerous parish officials. Historically protected buildings are in good condition and apartments have been renovated to be up to date. The courtyard of the rectory is idyllic and is surrounded by a municipal path near the beach.

Welcome to the cozy Owl nest at the top of Iso-Syöte. The apartment enchants with a warm atmosphere and stunning views from the window. The location is perfect for an active vacationer. You can access the slopes directly from the front door, the trails start 300 m away. A real ski-in / ski out stay. The space is best suited for a couple or small family. All sleeping places are located on the loft. The kitchenette was renovated in autumn 2023. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking.

This cozy and atmospheric cottage is located in a quiet area on the shores of the pure-water Honkajärvi. Welcome to relax, cook in the bosom of nature, go boating on the lake and enjoy the gentle steam of the beach sauna. You have a rowboat and, if you wish, a hot tub (extra charge). Berry picking areas and hunting grounds can be found right next to the cottage. With solar power, you can use the appliances in the cottage and charge your mobile phone. There is no running water. The cottage is wood heated.

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and roomy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a sauna + bathroom. The loft also has plenty of space and sleeping places. The cottage has all the modern comforts and the large windows open up to a magnificent lake landscape in two directions. In the warmth of the fireplace, it is nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence. You will enjoy and relax here, welcome!

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

The cottage is an old main building of a log-structured horse farm and is almost 100 years old. In 2010, the cottage was renovated from floor to ceiling. The cottage is 45 square meters and includes a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. The cottage is located in the courtyard of the horse farm and the farm has horses and cats. Horses can be greeted by appointment. The hosts live in the same yard. Grocery store 6 km 4 km to the beach Nature trail 3 km Oulu 35 km I speak English.

Vaaran Huoneistot welcomes guests! The apartments built in the old village school in Syöte were completed in the spring of 2023. Kuru is a lovely compact apartment with good basic equipment. Ideal for two guests, but can accommodate four. The apartment has a shared storage room with the neighbor, where you can store bikes/skis, etc. NOTE! Linens, bath towels and final cleaning are not included in the price! Linens 10e, towel 5e and final cleaning 40e. Ski trails nearby!
