Monthly Rentals in Powerstock

A lovely time was had over the bank holiday weekend at The Nest. The hut was exactly as described and included everything that we needed as well as being comfortable and cosy. Both pubs within the area were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely local walk along the old railway line. We had a delicious roast lunch at the Spyway Inn which is just a short 10 minute drive from the hut with a lovely pub garden overlooking the Dorset countryside. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed by our hosts. The hot tub was a particular highlight and the perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

The granary was just perfect for a quiet stay in a beautiful village. Lovely walks and not far to drive to the coast. The property was spotless and had everything we needed for 4 people and Ellie is a fantastic host. We will definitely love to return in the future😊

Bill was an amazing host and his house was perfect for a relaxing weekend away from London. It was clean, cozy and peaceful. The three beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. There wasn't a spec of dust to be found in the place. He generously supplied tea, coffee, milk, jam, granola bars and delicious home made cookies. Bill is one of the friendliest and most responsive hosts I've come across. He even offered to post some things we left behind. Bridport is a lovely scenic town with a lot of character and it was a perfect little getaway for us. My four year old daughter especially enjoyed the nearby beaches. We had such a lovely stay and hope to visit again soon.

We have had the best time at Poorton House, staying a week at the beautiful cottage in Dorset. We were lucky to have gotten this week away as a wedding gift, and it couldn't have been a better babymoon! The house is very comfortable with all the essentials you may need, including full kitchen, fireplace for colder evenings, amazing bathroom and multiple rooms to enjoy. During warmer days you can use the beautiful garden with barbecue area, and there are many great walking routes and pubs nearby, as well as day trips to towns and beaches. We would definitely recommend and will be back!
