Luca has given a lot of thought to the needs of his guests including a handy in-house shop where you can buy drinks, pasta, and small groceries. It was very welcoming to find a fridge full of cooling drinks. There is everything you need, including a patio area with table and chairs. Sadly it rained for most of my visit, but it would be great for sunny weather. The historic part of Chiusi is a short bus ride up the hill, and you can get the bus from outside the station. I recommend going to the Etruscan museum and the tour of the labyrinth, aqueduct, and tower. I didn't get to the lake because of the weather, but I am sure that it would be lovely in the sunshine.

This was an excellent experience. The host (Alex) was very friendly and welcoming, and a wealth of information about what to do in the area. The apartment was beautifully crafted, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything you needed. I had a small issue and Alex fixed it immediately. The pool area is fantastic and a walk down the valley through the vineyard is highly recommended. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Carlotta was always available for every little thing, the accommodation is very comfortable 3 steps from the sea and all the comforts.

I went to Val d'Orcia by car, and google maps took me right into Daniela's place no problem. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted by their two friendly dogs, that barked our arrival to a friendly and receptive older lady who showed us where to park the car and proceeded to show us our place. The place is on the ground floor of the property and has no direct connection with the rest of the house where the hosts live. It has a bedroom, a bathroom and an open space style kitchen-living room. It is just a five-minutes drive to the historic centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, where you will find a market (Coop) and other places to eat. Bear in mind that these places close during the afternoon. It is extremely straightforward to go to Pienza and Montepulciano from there by car. The location is beautiful and fairly easy to access by car. There are some narrow roads leading to the property but nothing to worry about. Overall the stay was excellent and I would recommend Il Colombaio.

Beautiful place to stay, very clean and welcoming. It was perfect for us! Peaceful and quiet. Host greeted us warmly and was available throughout the stay. Peaceful nice sleep. We will be back!

The views are beautiful. Peaceful neighborhood. However, the kitchen is missing several items for cooking.

We stayed a few days from Cecilia, but it was enough to regenerate ourselves... the famous contact with nature was missing for a long time, the fragrant plants, the outside with American vines saved us from the very high temperatures of these July days and so much did the farmhouse in the tuff, always fresh inside... the hospitality was also completed by the inhabitants of the small village of San Valentino, thank you and I hope to be able to come back one day

Beautiful accommodation, responsive host, very attentive and helpful, responds very quickly if needed. Quiet, peaceful environment, far from Porto Santo Stefano but compensated by a paradisiacal view. The very big assets are the solarium, the spectacular view from the terrace, the private beach 1km away. Despite our 2 hours late to arrival, we were very well received by Marco and his wife. They also agreed to come early when we left for organizational matters. We recommend 100% and will be back.

If you are looking for a good place to stay in the area and don't want to get poor right away, this is the place to be. Everything just worked great

Absolutely stunning, beautiful place. The pictures don’t do it justice. I’ve never stayed so close to the sea before and the view from my bedroom every morning was incredible. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect apartment, there was everything you need. From the balcony you can see the sea. Mauro personally welcomed us and gave many helpful tips for things to do and restaurants. He is super nice and was always reachable. The location of the apartment is great, close to the beach. The city and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

We had a very good time, very convenient and central location, wonderful view from the terrace, possibility to pay for parking at the same rate as residents, i.e. €2 per day. Ale was always very helpful and kind in everything we needed... highly recommended...

Simona was kind and helpful from the first contacts of the reservation. The apartment is well cared for, clean and offers everything you need to spend a great stay in peace and comfort. The area is around Porto Santo Stefano, which you can reach in less than 5 minutes by spot and also on foot. We stayed with our 3-month-old baby and had a great time, Simona also provided us with a bed for her. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay at Matteo’s apartment. The view is beautiful, lots of evenings spent sat drinking wine on the balcony! It’s peaceful, easy to walk into town, basic facilities like coffee, ability to cook, clean bathroom, AC, comfy bed. We liked the stripped back basic feel, with good company, a view, wine and local fish from the market cooked at home we highly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend thank you Matteo!

We spent a beautiful week in the beautiful apartment of Rosà, the perfect host responded quickly and attentively. The panoramic view of the apartment takes your breath away... everything is perfectly clean, elegant furnishings and attention to the small things. You feel at home. Parking near the house is convenient to use. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.
