Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Porto Empedocle

We were personally picked up by the host at the train station. He took us to the apartment and showed us everything. In addition, he gave us detailed information about excursions, restaurants and shopping. There was a delicious surprise in the fridge😀. The accommodation is located in the old town and is a historic building, freshly renovated. We'll be happy to come back.

The Mortilla AirBnB from Francesca and Lorenzo is a gem in mountains of Sicily. The small house we stayed in exceeded our expectations in many regards. It is truly beautiful and private, perfect if you're looking for rest both for body and soul. One of our highlights, besides the beautiful gardens and the amazing pool is the wonderful view you have from all of the property. The best of la Mortilla and of our stay though were the wonderful hosts Francesca and Lorenzo! Their welcoming and worm style of hosting ist something truly special and we spent some wonderful time together! We definitely recommend trying their orange wine and great food during a shared dinner. When we got in trouble with a broken tire Lorenzo was there immediately to help us solve the problem. That we felt taken care of is an understatement. We plan to come back soon and if we could give 7 Stars we would! ;)

very bright and clean accommodation. Friendly host who knows how to give valuable directions to get around the city. The accommodation is not in the centre but in the San Michele district that we really liked to visit for the characteristic courtyards. Very quiet both day and night. Sciacca is very beautiful and clean!

The location suited us because it has off-street parking. What makes it stand out is the host's hospitality and their help making our stay pleasant and easy.

Maria Carmela is a wonderful host. She picked us up on arrival and drove us to the apartment. She left us plenty of coffee and tea and even milk as well as a bottle of wine. She also put us in touch with taxi drivers that helped us a lot. It was great knowing we could count on her to respond in case of need.

Very nice, large and tastefully furnished apartment. Beautiful bathroom, spacious bedrooms and although it is central, a very quiet apartment. Alfonso is a very nice host, promptly sent us all the necessary information. The cleanliness and amenities of the apartment are also outstanding, I can recommend the accommodation without reservation. Thank you so much for letting us stay there.

We stayed two nights in Lucia’s apartment and loved it. The neighbourhood was fascinating, really local but also close to excellent restaurants. We got a real Sicilian local flavour from the area. the apartment is spotlessly clean and Lucia and her husband were incredibly kind, helpful and informative. It was a great pleasure to spend time with them - wonderful people. Highly recommended.

Thanks to the great host, I had a great time in a really beautiful accommodation.🥰 Agrigento is a beautiful place in every corner, but there isn't a lot of information, so it may be difficult to move around or live on the first trip, but Rosa provided me with meticulous information, so I had a fun trip! And it was really nice to communicate using a Korean translator. Hahaha. There's no end to listing things to be grateful for. I was really, really grateful! I want to meet again!

I have only one word to describe Maddalena's place - "wow....wow....wow! My friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maddalena's beautiful flat! From the first step into this flat, we were surprised by its high-tech, modern and beautifully furnished. We just love relaxing in the balcony and enjoying the beautiful view. This place is only 5 minutes drive to the Valley of the Temples. This is the best Airbnb I have stayed so far! Maddalena is a great host. She welcomed us in person for the check in, introduced her place to us and made sure we know how to use things. She recommended some fine restaurants in the area. She even sent weather forecast to us. Very thoughtful of her! We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stay longer to fully enjoy this fantastic place! This place is perfect for married couples, group of 4 to 5 friends and I would have no hesitation to recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay in Agrigento — the apartment was so good we would have happily stayed a few more nights (the kids didn’t want to leave!). It was modern, beautifully fitted out, and had everything we needed. The views out to the sea were stunning, with a perfect spot to enjoy a drink or meal while taking it all in. Giusy was an incredibly thoughtful host — she not only stocked the fridge and pantry with generous treats, but was also on hand to help with parking. Anyone who’s driven in Sicily knows what a big deal that is, and we were so grateful for the support! The location was ideal: walking distance to Via Atenea (the main street) and, if you’re up for it, also walkable to the Valley of the Temples. The Turkish Steps and some gorgeous beaches are just a short drive away too. Highly recommend this place — one of our absolute favourites in Sicily

We stayed with our two little kids for some days and had a really great time. Also if we did not meet in person we can say Cinzia is a great host, very communicative and reachable and had a lot of suggestions. the apartment was very clean, nice and quite, we can really recommend it. A lot of beaches and valle dei templi are nearby.

Our stay in Agrigento was just perfect. We had everything we needed and the location was exactly where we needed to be to access the Archaeological Park. Francesco was a very friendly and helpful host with excellent communication skills. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Very large apartment with great sea views. The place itself offers little, but you can reach great beaches, Agrigento and other sights in 30 minutes by car.

Patricia‘s place was absolutely beautiful and decorated with creativity while keeping taste and practicality in mind. The view from the beautiful balcony was astounding, and the apartment was a short walk away from restaurants and the delightful centre of Agrigento’s old town. Finding parking nearby was not a problem at all. All in all, staying at Patrizia‘s place was a fantastic experience that we look forward to be able to repeat.

Gosh, what a way to spend a day and night. Sitting in the terraced gardens relaxing and watching the temples, eating a wonderful dinner across the road and then spending the night in the amazing renovated house which had everything. In the morning headed down the path for ten minutes to the temples. We got there right at 8.30 and basically had it to ourselves. Thankyou so much for meeting us and booking the restaurant and having such a wonderful place to stay. Only regret is we only stayed one night. A definite 5 star experience.

Cute little apartment with beautiful balcony. Great check in with us being met at the top of the stairs & early check in which was much appreciated. Apartment has all the equipment to cook, and do laundry which we loved. Central to train station and all sights. Thanks for having us!

A charming and well-equipped place in the old town of Agrigento. It is very near to restaurants (a great one is right around the corner!) and piazza Pirandello. Fabio was super-responsive, responding in real time when we were trying to find parking later in the evening, which we really appreciated. Breakfast food and cookies were great, and the place has all modern conveniences in a beautiful old building.

We had the most amazing stay at Salvo’s Villa! The room, balcony and terrace was even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen is small but sufficient. It‘s only a two minute walk to an amazing beach which wasn’t crowded at all at the beginning of June. Salvo is really welcoming, gave us a lot of tips and was always available when needed though still giving us enough privacy. A car is definetly needed but it’s only a 10min drive to Licata where you can find everything you need. Thank you for having us!

Fabulous! Absolutely fabulous! Enza and Giuseppe were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The villa was exceptionally comfortable, with so many wonderful amenities. The beds were very cozy, and the villa itself was beautiful, clean, organized, and offered an amazing view. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Sicily and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you Enza for being such an amazing host.
