Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Porto Empedocle

We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

Andrea's place is lovely. After being in Napoli and Palermo for a week, it was a nice change of pace to be in the country. The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice. The cottage is quite a it bigger than the pictures suggest. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Our favourite part of staying at Andrea's was drinking wine and looking at the scenery. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying at this air bnb!

Une jolie location avec une agréable terrasse un peu à l’écart d’Agrigente mais assez proche de la vallée des temples. Hôte accueillante. Un séjour confortable et plaisant. Garage de la voiture dans la propriété.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans ce logement, mais tout s’est très bien passé. L’endroit est agréable, propre et paisible, parfait pour se reposer. La communication avec l’hôte a été fluide et réactive. Merci pour l’accueil !

Séjourner dans l’appartement est un vrai plaisir . La terrasse est superbe et l’appartement très bien aménagée il y a juste la rue à traverser pour être sur une superbe plage libre et propre . Nous reviendrons !

We loved our stay at Francesco’s place! His aunt Teresa was very warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home. This was the perfect place to bring our 3 year old daughter, as there was a large enclosed outdoor space for her to play. Additionally, the pool area is gated. Highlights of our stay included walks through the olive trees to the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean, as well as picking oranges on the property and making our own orange juice. The property is beautiful and very private, but still close to all the highlights of Agrigento. I imagine it is even better when it is warm enough to use the pool. We would love to come back sometime!

Bel appartement bien situé à proximité d'Agrigente, avec une belle vue sur la mer. Instructions très claires pour l'accès au logement. Le parking de la résidence est un peu serré mais suffit largement.

Gran alojamiento en Agrigento, espacioso y cuidadosamente decorado. Buena ubicación cerca a los sitios de interés turístico. Francesco muy atento y amable, siempre presto a ayudar. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Appartement idéalement situé a deux pas du centre historique d’agrigente. Lieu de visite et plage facilement accessible en voiture. Tres bonne accueil avec plein de recommandations faites par l’hote. L’appartement est tout confort et situé dans une rue calme. Le garage est un gros plus. Merci pour votre accueil. Nous recommandons !

Location tops all! Lovely, spacious, comfortable two bedroom apartment in an excellent location in a historic old palazzo. We loved the different tile floors. Felt very secure.

Accueil parfait, Rosa nous a réservé une place de parking pour que nous soyons garés juste devant la chambre. Le logement était très bien situé pour explorer Agrigento.

Il nostro soggiorno da Carlo è stato molto piacevole. Carlo ha aspettato il nostro arrivo e ci ha fatto visitare l’appartamento. Carlo è gentile e molto disponibile, ci siamo subito sentiti bene. Appartamento molto bello e confortevole a 5 minuti da Via Atenea. Consigliamo un soggiorno nell’appartamento di Carlo, molto comodo per visitare la regione d’Agrigento.

This is our second time staying at this location because we love it so much! It has beautiful views and is walking distance to everything you need. Highly recommend.

Además de ser muy amable y de brindarnos información de todo tipo, el apartamento es bellísimo , con una vista espectaculares hacia el mar y el valle de los Templos. Pero además , un detalle importante es el recibimiento con una torta sobre la mesa, la heladera completa de bebidas, jugos , agua , leche , yoghurt , jamón , huevos ... y una alacena completa con galletas, leches, aceite ... Nunca ningún anfitrión nos había recibido de esta manera . Bravo ! Nuestra estadía en Agrigento fue maravillosa , por la belleza de la ciudad , el Valle de los Templos, la gastronomía local ( Fuimos a una La Trattoría Concordia en el centro histórico donde comimos muy bien y con una muy buena atención ), el apartamento muy lindo , amplio y moderno , con una vista impresionante... y una excelente relación precio-calidad ... Pero lo más importante: la amabilidad y gentileza de nuestra anfitriona Giussy ! ❤️❤️❤️

We’ve stayed in well over 125 Airbnb’s around the world and sometimes you find ones that stand out for you. This was one of them. From the beginning the communication was superb, Vincenzo met us in the square at the bottom of old town and took us to he and Nadia’s beautiful apartment in a quiet street in Agrigento. He helped us carry our luggage up the stairs, parking was free and right outside the door. The views were spectacular! The apartment had everything we needed for a very warm and comfortable stay. Nadia supplied us with plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bakeries as well as bus information for the short bus ride to the Valley of the Temples. Couldn’t recommend it more!

What a charming, quirky apartment: it was like staying in a designers flat but also had all the thoughtful details you didn’t know you wanted: diffusers for curly hair, bath products, luxurious towels, and cool art books to peruse in the balcony when you grow tired (as if) of the unique view of the ruins which are charming to sip espressos upon wake-up and wine after the distant lights shine on them. Place is perched above all the best restaurants, gelatterias, and cafes. Patrizia was a most knowledgeable host, happy to make itinerary suggestions, best parking for Turkish Stairs, and fix a restaurant reservation I mixed up. Nothing but compliments for the place itself and its owner.

We loved our stay at Anna Rita’s apartment. It has everything you need. The view (from the garden) across the Valley of the Temples all the way to the sea is amazing. It’s a short walk to the entrance to the Valley of the temples and about 30m to the center of Agrigento. We especially loved the garden to relax and enjoy the view after a busy day of siteseeing. Supermarket and restaurants close by. A perfect base for exploring Agrigento and surroundings.

Probably the best apartment one can get in Agrigento. Both the location and the interior design made this stay more than perfect. Carmelo was super friendly, very helpful both during check-in and check out. The amazing view and the architecture were so beautiful that we didn't bother spend time inside. more than recommend!

Unsere Erwartungen waren aufgrund der Bewertungen und der Bilder sehr hoch. Das Apartment, der Ausblick und vor allem Rossano als Gastgeber haben sie sogar noch übertroffen. Vielen Dank 🙏🏻

beautiful house, wonderful space, Close to the beach and wonderful view. it was early. spring and the weather was cold-ish and the house has a very good heater. also AC in all rooms. lots of beautiful books and magazines about art, Sciacca town, sicily in the living room. also great recommendations where to eat. kitchen is super well equipped and we felt really at home cooking for the family. the only thing that hat it is not mentioned in the description of the apartment is that the place is a house divided in 4 apartments. one of the rooms has an exit door and windows directly to the entrance and patio of one of the apartments. so when people are there and talking normal, there is no isolation to the sounds coming from outside. same to the apartment above, someone was cleaning up there in the evening and it was very hearable. there is no ceiling lamp in most of the rooms and at night the light is low. all for all we had a lovely time and loved our stay.

Fabio and Salvatore are incredible hosts, very responsive and caring! The first-rate location: very quite, close to all attractions of the old town.
