Cottage holiday rentals in Port Phillip

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cottage and our son loved the farm animals and surrounding gardens. The space was warm, comfortable and very clean. We loved collecting fresh eggs as fruits from the garden in the mornings, what a special treat!

A truly beautiful experience staying at the Wild Orchid Cottage. It is evident to see the love and thought Pia has put into the place. The cottage is in a perfect location and the surroundings are majestic. Pia could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, for that we are so grateful.

Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

Was a beautiful one night stay, my wife and I enjoyed sitting by the fire and just spending time together in the little loungeroom. Was a great place to just get away from life and enjoy each others company. Anne-Marie was a really good host with helpful instructions everywhere and very simple entry and checkout. We'll be back one day

We had such a great time staying at Lauretta’s Airbnb! The area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. There were so many amazing sites and scenic hikes nearby, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lauretta was super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question or needed something. Her place had such a unique charm, from the decor to the overall vibe—it really added to the experience and made it feel special. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful, cozy spot with character and access to nature. Thanks again, Lauretta!

Stayed for long weekend to accompany client for respite. She loved everything about the place, as did I. Place was as described and looked even better in person. The pool/sauna/spa area were awesome and we made good use out of these amenities during our stay. Great little living/kitchen area and comfy bed upstairs, Very accessible and accommodating to clients needs. Neighbours were a little noisy, as it was the long weekend that was to be excepted but other than that it was a Relaxing little get away, hope to visit again soon.

Lovely little cottage, fireplace was delightful my daughter & I had a wonderful little stay in between basketball games. Close enough to Ballarat, easy and accessible.

We had a great stay at Shaun's cottage, lovely and clean, great yard for the dogs ( 2 x kelpies ) along with a nice balcony at the back for either a sunny afternoon or if the weather turned bad then great shelter. Kitchen was well supplied and nice hot shower. Beds with nice linen and comfortable. Shaun was a great communicator which made check in etc easy. Thank you

My family loved our stay. Accommodation was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. Great for the kids to play in a safe a secure house. Short walk to the shops and beach which was perfect for us. I would love to book another stay and would highly recommend Terry’s house to friends and family.

Jade's place was all it lived up to for us. Gussie our doggo had a lovely time mooching around outside. The BBQ did the local chops and mixed grill with great flavour and quick heat to get it done and back inside in the warmth. We bought a salad at the local 'everything' shop and it was a simple and healthy dinner with the warmth of the fire. This was the best thing - the whole house kept the warmth in for our entire stay (there was a frost overnight of 1 degree and we were warm all night even without electric blankets - good news!).

Lovely little house. Amazing bed! Very quiet so it was nice for a sleep in or relaxing. I was attending the Sorrento writers festival so it was a great location. Close to St Paul’s corner store. Two toilets which was handy but note the shower stall is tiny.

We had such a fantastic stay. The house is so thoughtfully pieced together and Tricia was such an accomodating host. Heater on got arrival, bottle of wine from the winery next door and offered flexibility with checking in and out. Fantastic property and host!

Exactly what you want in a cottage - private, curious sheep outside the front window, a pre made fireplace so easy to get going, breakfast in the fridge to cook. Charming place, recent Reno on the bathroom all modern. Lovely host and one of the few really quiet places we could find in the area.

Thank you Rebecca for a wonderful stay in your beautiful house. We felt right at home and appreciated all the little extras. The stunning sunrises were an added bonus and we enjoyed the wood heater. There's so much to do around Lorne, quite a special place!

The Nook is a nice place if you want to get away from the madding crowd. We didn’t see a single soul (but lots of cows, sheep and geese) during our 3-day stay. We used it as a base to explore Kenneth River, Otway, 12 Apostles on the coast and as far west as The Grotto. Which on hindsight, was not such a great idea as it involved long hours of driving back and forth. Unfortunately, nearer attractions such as Heroes Vineyard were closed for winter. The cottage itself is spacious, suitable for big family gatherings. Downside was that it gets quite cold after sundown. Even with a roaring fire in the fireplace, the living room never quite warmed up, much less the rest of the big house. Fortunately, there was electric blanket provided in beds. The kitchen amenities were well stocked. And the complimentary sourdough bread, milk and coffee powder were a welcome sight. Thank you, Courtney.

Gorgeous character filled cottage in a lovely peaceful location very much enjoyed our stay there. Will stay again in the future.

Good and comfortable place to spend the night while exploring the Phillip Island. The house was clean. The location is also close to nearby viewpoints. Steve was very kind to keep bread, butter and coffee for the breakfast. Overall it was a great experience.

We loved our stay at Deb’s cottage, house was very clean, warm and welcoming. Kids enjoyed playing in the backyard, bunk beds, the lovely reading corner and the wooden jenga blocks. The place was close to attractions and shops. Would highly recommended Deb’s cottage to future guests.

We had the best time staying at Willow Wood. Would highly recommend. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped (including for cooking at home). The scenery is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed some great bush walks in the area. We would love to stay again!
