Waterfront holiday rentals in Port Isaac

This is the view found only on postcards and movies, and to have it right at my fingertips was the treat of a lifetime. Light bright compact space with all I needed, and the blackout curtains were helpful. Even with the teaming summer hoardes shuffling by underneath, my space felt like private retreat. I even sang along to the evening buskers. Super clean and easy to access, the laundry was a bonus. I’m already planning a return trip. Perfect spot for solo female travelers.

This was the best place we stayed all holiday. The location is incredible, just steps from Bamaluz beach, with amazing views and the sound of the waves coming right into the house. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching all the dogs playing on the sand, and it was only ten minutes walk to all the main beaches in St Ives. The flat had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay. An absolutely perfect base for a beach holiday.

I stayed with 2 friends for a function at porthtowan. Stunning view of the beach, cute and functional interior and a comfy bed. Mike was great at communication and even let us check in early as nobody was staying the day before which was super helpful, thanks. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We absolutely loved staying at Charlotte's place! The loft was very spacious, extremely comfy, and well-equipped. A parking spot is provided. Charlotte lives on the property as do her two sweet pups and some very sociable chickens who tended to greet us when we walked to our car each morning. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful, but a quick drive to the center of Falmouth where there are lots of shops and wonderful restaurants. Trebah garden is only a few minutes away by car and is outstanding. Charlotte is very kind and welcoming, and a super responsive host. We couldn't have asked for anything more and truly enjoyed our stay at the loft. I highly recommend renting this property.

Absolutely stunning place inside and out, I couldn’t have wished for more. The balcony was literally right on the sea and the views were gorgeous. When the tide is out there’s a lovely little beach and rock pools to explore. Lovely coastal walks down to Cawsand and Kingsand which is 2 miles each way so you do need to have a certain level of fitness, and National Trust house also nearby to visit. Lovely little ferry ride over to Plymouth and the barbican where there’s lots of lovely restaurants and little shops. The apartment itself was very cosy and comfortable with excellent WiFi connections. We didn’t close the curtains at night as it was lovely to see the sea from the bed and watch the moon shimmer on the water as well as wake up naturally with the sunrise. Best place we’ve ever stayed.

Its a perfect little place for 2 in an absolutely beautiful location....the views from the flat are amazing and St Mawes has everything you need.....our new favourite place ❤️

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

absolutely stunning place in the beautiful moorlands. Very private, close to the river and lots of horses, sheep a cows nearby. The garden is huge and the kids(and grownups) loved it. Great facilities, well equipped kitchen. Wendy was most helpful and very quick to respond. We might well make it an annual trip.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

Really enjoyed our stay at the Slipway. Great location for walking into town and the property is very comfortable and well equipped. Nice view of the river from the property and communication with Neil very easy.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . By following the sat nav the house was easy to find. The location is ideal to use as a base to visit nearby places. There is a bus service that goes through the village roughly hourly which starts early in the morning and finishes at a reasonable time at night. We used the service quite regularly and didn’t have to use the car unless travelling further a field ,but no doubt could have used the bus for further places but there would be a time element to consider. There is a walk from the village to padstow which we took and although dry was uphill and down dale in places. Although the sign says 2 mls I think to the centre of padstow more like 2 3/4 mls. The old mill restaurant in the village is superb and a loverly setting for a meal inside or out, depending on weather. I must also say that Hollie was very helpful and accommodating with regard to our booking due to a medical situation and had to alter dates at the last minute.

Damian was very friendly and helpful especially when it came down to finding the parking. Very easy to talk to when it came to checking in/out. Highly recommend this place and could have stayed longer!

A fabulous location overlooking the river/harbour. Gemma's is a really nice 2nd floor apartment on level ground at the start of the main street and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. If you're OK with the stairs I thoroughly recommend it.

Had an amazing stay. The apartment was in a beautiful historical building. The apartment itself was beautiful. The kitchen was very well appointed. Everything so clean. We were visiting family and they came over to the apartment one of the days and we had a lovely afternoon walk around Wise Park and Scott Memorial. Great location, 10 minute drive to Royal William Yard and 15 minutes to West Hoe. We will be back again.

This is a fabulous and comfortable apartment from which to explore Newquay and Cornwall. With water views, a great open plan living, dining and kitchen space and a generous bedroom, it had everything we needed for a 7 night stay. The hosts were welcoming and generous. This is one of the best bnbs we have stayed in.

Such a lovely break. Good communication from hosts, all the information you need. Beautiful location and would definitely stay again. The hosts went above and beyond providing all the cleaning materials, toilet roll etc. As they say beat views on Newquay and we all had a fabulous stay and would will definitely book again.

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. The apartment was exactly as described and looked in the photos. Immaculate, high quality finishes and appliances. Beds are super comfortable, with enough space in the apartment for 4 adults or family. Location is ideal to not use or need a car, as its located beachfront, next to restaurants, bars and the South West Coast Path for scenic walks. Darren was so easy to communicate with, giving recommendations, tips and quick response times. couldn't fault at all.
