We loved the cottage - charming, quirky and well equipped with modern amenities. The deck made a lovely sunny spot for alfresco dining and the garden is secure for all but the smallest and most determined of dogs! The location is idyllic, peaceful and easy to find, and made a great base for exploring the area - with the added bonus of the kayaks on the estuary at high tide. Nic is a great host - very responsive, and sent a really comprehensive and helpful guide including lots of well-researched tips and suggestions. For eating out we particularly recommend The Cove at Maenporth if you want to treat yourselves to a special meal including local seafood, with gorgeous sea views and a separate menu for dogs! And if you visit the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, don't miss the Boatyard Cafe - amazing food and couldn't have been kinder to our dog.

A lovely and very comfortable space to stay for a few days as we explored Cornwall. Jan is a very responsive host and a great communicator. It was close enough to Truro for convenience. but far enough away to be peaceful and away from the city. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

We have stayed at many airbnbs and they have all been top notch but this was something else. Finished, cleaned and kept to an immaculate standard!!!! If there was a 6th star it would get that! Hosts were so welcoming and pleasant and couldn’t be more helpful. I could have just stayed in the accommodation the whole holiday!!! We spent many lazy hours comfy in our wonderful huge clean bed. I am already looking at staying again on our next break as it’s so central with a lovely Sunday lunch in the pub down the road and a spar near by to get bits and Truro only 11 mins down the road We did not want to come home!!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent
