Darryl and Allyson’s Lakehouse was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and we even got to enjoy a Lake Huron sunset from the upper deck. Darryl and Allyson are responsive and honest and generally great hosts. We’ll be back!

Beautiful spacious open plan home. They thought of everything. If by chance you forgot something, I am sure you will find it at the house. I have never come across an air bnb so well stocked. The kitchen had everything you would need, including a blender (a first for us). To receive an e-mail the day before our arrival letting us know the house was ready any time for us the next day was such an added bonus. (While staying at another air bnb this year, they would not let us into the house until 4:00, even though our plane landed at 10:00. We were told to leave our suitcases outside the door and go and do something! I don’t think so.) So thank you for allowing us early access. This really was the perfect house for six friends who like to get away every year. Highly recommend. Also for an amazing breakfast try the Lighthouse restaurant downtown.

We had a wonderful time in Steve and Jane's quaint and cozy cottage! The beautiful view and the sound of the water made our time spent there enjoyable and peaceful. The cottage was clean, instructions were clear and they had everything you might need to make your stay a wonderful one. Steve and Jane were also quick to respond to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. Amazing hosts!! Thank you for a great time!

Cute little A-frame cottage by the lake. Perfect getaway for my family of four. The sunset views of the lake were stunning. We had lots of fun chilling in the hot tub and making s'mores by the fire pit. The location was quiet and serene and the house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Tracey and Aahil were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

This is a great place! Very clean, warm and inviting. It had everything you could need. Cheyene was very friendly and quick to respond. The backyard was nice and spacious and the fire pit and hot tub were perfect in making our getaway enjoyable and relaxing!

Cam was unbelievably accommodating and communicative, always responding to my chats and queries within a short period of time. The place was beautiful and exactly as he described. With all the knick knacks, it really made you feel like you were staying in a rustic cottage. The hot tub was an awesome addition, especially since we didn’t have the best weather conditions for our stay. We stayed there for me and my girlfriend’s 4 year anniversary, and I’m so glad we got to stay at Cam’s place. If I could give it 6 stars I would. If you’re considering staying here, I recommend it highly! Bayfield is also so beautiful and theres so many boutiques and cute shops to shop at!

We had a great 2-night stay! The location by the water was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the views and easy access to the lake. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The cottage was spacious and comfortably fit our group of 9 adults and 2 kids. Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating of our requests, which made the stay even smoother. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back if we're in the area again!

We had the most wonderful stay at Priolo on the Trail! It was very comfortable and the surroundings were so peaceful. The outdoor fire pit, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge tub were amazing and enjoyed by all. It was a lovely short walk to a gorgeous beach and we saw the most beautiful sunset. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Andy and Cathy! ❤️

My partner and I stayed for three nights in mid June. The cottage was lovely and the area was beautiful. We loved spending time in Goderich, walking along the beach, watching the beautiful sunset, dining at wonderful local restaurants, and hiking in the forest.

We enjoyed the May long weekend with my mother-in-law and two teenage kids. The space was perfect for enjoying meals together, playing some games, enjoying the hot-tub and the fire pit. Our dog enjoyed the large backyard. We enjoyed going into Goderich and Grand Bend to browse the markets and the location was reasonable for both. Was a great place to unwind and make memories. Definitely would recommend to others.

Absolutely beautiful Cottage right on Lake Huron. Original wood floors, wood beams, stain, glass windows, and lots of windows overlooking the lake. Very comfortable living room. Very private and peaceful. Nice beach. We’ll come again!

what a peaceful location! I would recommend this airbnb to anyone who would like privacy, starry nights and lots of room for outdoor games. the beach is beautiful and private but I would acknowledge that the walk is not safe for anyone with a disability. Tick checks would also be recommended after the walk through the path to the beach. the host was very responsive and helpful. the airbnb was very spacious and had lots of room. we used this airbnb for a bachelorette- we had lots of fun playing outdoor games, hanging on the beach and enjoying a fire.

This place was the most wonderful escape from the city, cozy and welcoming! Perfect trip for our toddler - safety outlets and even cute games to play inside and outdoor games as well! The perfect little home away from home, the paddle boats and fishing rods were the cherries on top ! Highly recommend

This place is a real gem that we just happened upon and I still can’t believe how well it fit for a family. It has everything, it’s super close to the town and it’s super quiet. We loved it.

I would highly recommend Nature's Cottage. We were a group of 7 and honestly we had ample room. The cottage is very spacious, clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The property was stunning. Beautiful manicured back yard offered a large deck, screened in porch, as well as a great fire pit, which we utilized. The property is within 10 minutes to all amenities, and just a 20 minute drive to the town of Goderich. You won't be disappointed!

Carla’s place was great! It was very clean and cozy with a beautiful backyard. Great location which was super close to the beach and the square ! She was a fantastic host and provided good information / instructions ! Would highly recommend and stay again 😊

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The cottage was spotless and well stocked. Brand new appliances and a bbq were an added plus. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and walking down to the beach not far away from the cottage. We will definitely stay again!

We loved Michele’s house. It was clean and user friendly with everything we needed. We were a little surprised with one full bath and 2 half baths, but this turned out to be a non-event for us. We had a very flexible schedule and used the primary bath for showers. So no issue. The views, the deck and the seating by the lake were amazing. We enjoyed those both morning and evening. Sunsets were very special Michele was very responsive for questions and gave us exact instructions for entering the house. We were in a well maintained, well loved home and would definitely rent from her again, if in the area. Thank you Michele

My family and I loved staying at Paula's cottage. From the decor to the little homey touches like extra blankets and scented candles; everything was fresh, clean and beautiful to look at. The view from the cottage window was so pretty, even on the day it rained, it was so calming to look out onto the lake. Our stay was like being at a friend's place, relaxed, hospitable and inviting. I would love to come back and stay a whole week. The place is private, but not secluded. You can sit and enjoy the lake on peaceful days or on busy days it's fun to people watch and notice all types of vacationers parade across the beach, some stopping to picnic and enjoy time in the water. Little shops or restaurants are a short walk to the main strip to the hustle and bustle of activities. Paula is an amazing host and her smile and kind eyes make you feel comfortable right from the start when she greets you at the cottage to show you around and welcome you. Thank you, Paula, for a wonderful stay. :)

We had a great time at the Hemlock Hideaway! The cottage is a short walk to the beach and was very well stocked with everything you would need on vacation - board games, cookware, extra toiletries and even complimentary s’mores ingredients. The provided high chair, play pen and children’s toys were especially handy for our group. As a group of 10, we also really appreciated using the bunkie, which not only had extra sleeping space but also an additional bathroom/shower and kitchenette. Our family is already looking forward to returning to this hidden gem next summer!

Stuart’s place is exactly as described. He is easy to communicate with and responds in a timely fashion. I would definitely stay at Stuart’s place again!

I had a wonderful stay at Michelle’s cottage. The place was spotless and the view was absolutely stunning. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Michelle is an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host. She promptly answered all my questions before and during the stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. One thing that truly stood out was her kindness and reliability. I accidentally left my jacket behind and only realized after I got home. I reached out to Michelle, and she kept it safe and shipped it back to me as soon as possible. She kept me informed throughout and responded to every message right away. Overall, the stay was peaceful and I felt completely at ease. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a clean, scenic, and well-hosted place to unwind.

We had a wonderful time here! As soon as we entered the house, it smelt clean. The owners clearly work hard to make sure it is top notch for their guests. The beds were also very comfortable. The views are stunning! The access to the beach is approx 100 stairs therefore not accessible but we were able to manage it. My only suggestion is an umbrella for the top deck as the sun gets really hot and there is no shade. 100% recommend staying here. I’d love to book it again.

Kim's place was beautiful! Excellent view and private beach which made it worth every penny. My kids loved it. We will be back next summer.
