Beach house holiday rentals in Plymouth

We have stayed in many Airbnb but this is by far the best property we have ever come accross, beautiful views, perfect location, property has every item you could ever need or more. As a multigenerational family holidaying, it was perfect for all our party which ranged in ages from 16 to 82. Absolutely perfect a dream location... Absolutely blessed to have been able to spend quality time with our loved ones in such a stunning location.

Fantastic location and property, photos do not really do it justice. Would defintely return and recommend to all. Access is on very narrow lanes but being on the coastal path and having such a fabulous beach on the doorstep meant our cars could stay parked for most of the stay. Listing states BBQ is gas - it's charcoal, helpful to know if planning a food delivery

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

Lovely house with fantastic views. We had a great stay. Slightly tired interior and outside seating area would’ve benefited from a lick of paint. Very peaceful, the Bridge restaurant is a stones throw from the house, good food but quite expensive. The Mountbatten Bar was a short walk away. Very good, reasonably priced food. The water ferry was a great adventure to get to the Barbican and once there a good walk into Plymouth. Overall a lovely stay

This property is spacious, clean, modern and had lovely views. It has everything for a week’s holiday, including great facilities, comfy beds and everything in order as you’d expect. It felt like the owner had gone the extra mile to make it a pleasant stay. The only thing that detracted a bit for us was the downstairs flat- whilst it’s separate, a bit of noise transferred upwards through the floor and the pipes, especially early in the morning as the people staying there were in work time and we were on holiday time! Apart from that, this is an excellent property and highly recommended for a relaxing holiday with great views of the marina and harbour.

We had a really wonderful stay at James & Rebecca’s home. It was clean and comfortable and was situated in such a peaceful setting with an absolutely stunning sea view. Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

A fabulous property. Mandy and Lino were excellent hosts. Lots of room and everything was provided. The heritage railway running next to the property made it extra special and nostalgic. The pool was warm and the outsidde space very welcome. We took our two whippets who loved the garden and the walk down to Broadsands beach through the fields. The decor is beautiful and every bedroom is different. Mandys art work is amazing and really adds to the character of the property. Parking is off road down a short driveway. A quiet spot, no traffic noise, just birds and the occadional chuff of a steam engine. I have a feeling we'll be returning one day. In two words, fabulous, relaxing.

It was an amazing stay, the place is apart of a big holiday ket that has a restaurant and spa. It exceeded expectations! All the staff at cary arms were really great and approachable. People will need to realise in advance how steep the hill is to get to the holiday homes. I had difficulty driving my car back up so Chris and Harry from the cary arms helped me out with that and I tree really appreciated it.

Mewstone is an outstanding property and Maria is a top notch host. The property description tells it all accurately except it understates the beautiful views across Dartmouth from the upper windows and balcony (which is a real sun trap). Maria told us the property was being cleaned early and she kindly offered us access from 12 noon which was handy. Oh and it was very clean. All the furniture, fittings, appliances, beds etc are of high quality. We had been told in advance that the shared pool heater had broken down which was a shame and Maria was very apologetic and keen to make amends. She is a very friendly and responsive host who genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their time at Mewstone. 2 minutes walk to the market square and shops and restaurants, another couple to the riverside. With the bonus of two parking spaces given the central location. As a couple with three young adults we loved Mewstone and are already talking about returning.

We had such a lovely holiday, the park is in an ideal location with lovely facilities, our children loved the pool! The caravan was beautiful, clean and spacious and such great value for money! Great communication throughout as well, thank you.

We really enjoyed our extended stay at the caravan while waiting for our house purchase to complete. The caravan itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—truly a home away from home. Everything we needed (and more!) was thoughtfully provided. The site is peaceful with all essential amenities close by. Goodrington Beach is around a 20-minute walk—it's a lovely stroll down, though the walk back is uphill, so we often took the bus instead! Leanne was fantastic—always responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this as a brilliant base for exploring South Devon!

A great house for a family birthday celebration . The open plan living area with huge windows was perfect . Quite a hill to walk up from town but that is true of most houses in Salcombe!! We had a wonderful few days there over New Year

We had an excellent stay at Sunkeeper. The house was amazing - very high quality with great amenities, and the photos don’t quite do it justice. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Communication from Ashley and Charlotte was clear and helpful throughout, and they were very understanding when we let them know about a minor accident with a wine glass. The local area is very scenic, and we had some great meals at the Inn On The Shore and the Beach House. Would highly recommend Sunkeeper to others looking for a high-end, relaxed and well-equipped place to stay.

Just got back from a lovely few days break in this beautiful cottage. James is a very welcoming and friendly host and along with the information book in the cottage we had everything we needed to know. The cottage was just perfect and the outside and surrounding garden is like a scene from a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation , then this is definitely the place. Inside the cottage , there are lots of beautiful original features alongside more modern amenities. Everything that you could possibly need to make your stay more comfortable has been carefully thought about by the hosts. It’s in a great location to get to places like Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham. All in all a fabulous place to stay for some much needed R&R.

We had a lovely few days in this delightful cottage. It was cosy and full of character. We were 4 adults staying and appreciated the separate additional toilet as there is only the main bathroom. The bathroom was modern with a large walk in shower. Perfect. Location was perfect for our family gathering.

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

Treat yourself to a stay here, but I warn you, you won’t want to leave! Gorgeous space, thoughtful details like yoga mats, towels and welcome basket. An incredible view with plenty of outdoor space to relax or bbq. Walk to the beaches and restaurants. It was perfect for our family and we absolutely loved our stay. Wonderful memories made!

We loved our stay in the tiny cottage, the interior was beautiful and the shower was fab. Lovely walks along the SW Coast Path on the doorstep & close to East Portlemouth for getting the boat over to Salcombe. The local cafe & pub both do great food. Gara Rock Hotel is also worth a short drive to for a drink with a view. Sarah and Mark were so welcoming and it was lovely chatting to them; really great hosts and we’d love to return.

Just returned from a wonderful week in West Yardley House. 5 adults and a dog. We had an amazing time. The house is very practical, well equipped, scrupulously clean and homely. Mark couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is to die for. We had the en-suite bathroom facing the sea and slept with the window open listening to the sound of the sea. Sheer heaven. Ate at both the pub and local restaurant and walked along the beach to Seaton frequently. We loved Looe and Polperro too. Perfect family time. Highly recommend.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for a week. Elaine's place is very well stocked for a longer stay, meaning that you can cook etc. As we have a 20 month old, having a good kitchen and eating space was super handy. Elaine and her partner are very friendly and helpful. The house is well located - being 3 or 4 mins from a nice pub that does good pizza; Blackpool sands is a 20 minute walk away which means you can comfortably get down for a nice morning on the beach. Overall this was a tremendous holiday stay and I would highly recommend it.
