We had a wonderful stay at The Shippon. The house looks amazing on the advert but is even better in real life. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you might need. Jane has also added some thoughtful touches with the games and books, as well as some generous extras like toiletries, hand wash, tea, coffee etc. Everything is extremely clean and well presented. The garden is amazing and it was so lovely just listening to the birds in the morning, it's so peaceful! We found the location great. It was a very easy drive from Cornwall and quite central for exploring the surrounding areas, Chester was only 40 minutes away. There are shops, supermarkets and some great restaurants/ takeaways nearby too. We loved it here and are hoping to come back again soon!

Loved our stay above the stables. Shelley was responsive and very friendly - I would definitely come back here! The space was perfect for a little weekend away and had everything we needed - a comfy bed, cookware, salt, pepper, olive oil - Shelley even left us a little jug of milk! The area was super quiet aside from the birds and horses which was rather pleasant and the location was perfectly central for us to visit Alton towers, Chester and Stafford. The nearby Nantwich has lots of options for supermarkets etc. which was very handy too! Would recommend 😊

Absolutely perfect apartment. Beautifully furnished and exceptionally equipped with all you need for a relaxing break. Very clean and bright. Every inch is aesthetically pleasing and lots of interesting magazines and books to relax with. With two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is excellent value. There were so many thoughtful extras provided too. Plenty of high quality coffee, tea and other beverages. Fresh milk, bread, butter and fruit as well as cereals, spreads etc. Sue is a very lovely hostess and made sure we had a great stay. All set in a fabulous village location in the Cheshire countryside. 100% Recommend a stay here.
