Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Pickering

Any less than 5* or a-maz-ing would be doing Jane and Crabapple Cottage a disservice. The neighbours were fabulous too. We had everything we could possibly want in the cottage and looong garden, and more, including the trampoline 😄 Jane was super responsive to questions I raised even when she was out with a friend and immediately set to finding a solution to our mini problem. Settees and bed were very comfortable and our dog was immediately relaxed in the property which was also really important to us. So many places to visit nearby and lots to do, we could have spent way more time there.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. We had such a lovely stay. The accommodation is like a home from home, it’s really cosy with a lovely design and little touches. The photos of the garden on the listing don’t do it justice. It’s a large garden area which is fully secure, meaning we didn’t have to worry about our dogs escaping. We were welcomed with some fresh bread and shortbread and there were balls and bowls for the dogs. The location is great for exploring Whitby, Robins hood bay etc. We got some meat from the local butchers and it was delicious! Would recommend going there too. We would love to stay here again! We didn’t want to leave.

Lovely stay at the Shed - we've been before and it was just as good if not better second time round

A perfect girls’ weekend getaway! We stayed at this lovely cottage for a relaxing girls’ weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. The property is beautifully presented and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, perfect for cooking together, and the lounge and snug areas were cosy and comfortable for long chats and relaxing evenings. The beds were super comfy, and there was plenty of bathroom space for all of us. Just a 5-minute drive from charming Helmsley, the location was ideal. Lovely welcome gift was left for our arrival – thank you Helen. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return again soon!

This was my second visit to Jamie's place in Hinderwell, and I really can't fault it. The house is airy and spacious while still being cozy, in a lovely peaceful location. Perfectly placed for visiting Runswick Bay, Staithes, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. As a host Jamie responds quickly to all questions and provided lots of helpful local info before we arrived including places to eat, public transport and surrounding areas to visit. I would highly recommend this house to anyone, you wont be disappointed. I will definitely stay again, thanks Jamie.

Alex is a great host - quick to respond to messages and happy to help with any questions you may have during your stay. The cottage is lovely and very cosy (a few low doorways to be aware of if you are tall!) and is ideally situated close to shops, restaurants, walks, etc. and perfect for exploring Helmsley on foot. There is so much to do on the doorstep and Helmsley is also a great base for exploring more of this beautiful area.

Our second stay in this apartment. it's a perfect place to stay in Whitby. we had a great time again

I had a lovely stay here—very peaceful and comfortable. The accommodation is separate but close to the main house, so you occasionally see people passing the windows or working in the garden. Not a problem, just something to note. The bed was comfy, temperature perfect, and the shower worked great. There’s no kitchen, which made things a bit tricky. A microwave, toaster, and kettle are provided, but the toaster set off the fire alarm twice during my stay. And there’s no sink—so dishes have to be washed in the bathroom with no drying space. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the bus runs regularly (just not exactly as listed on Google—usually 5 minutes later). The listing was accurate about the location and facilities. I enjoyed my time here and would recommend this place to other travellers.

We were here for an overnight stay for a wedding nearby, let us check in a bit earlier to get ready for it, didnt spend alot of time there but its a really lovely home very spacious and the beds were comfortable

Found the place quite easily, the place was spotlessly clean and a lovely little hideaway, cant fault the rooms, bathroom was lovely, couldn’t initially get onto the drive as the FIL parked over, once on the drive difficult if you are in a big vehicle to reverse out with cars parked opposite behind, so parked back on the road, unfortunately there was a concrete post at an angle hidden in the grass, i opened my door onto it denting it quite badly, shame we wasn’t made aware of this, i removed the yellow post Two real gripes, the heating situation only having two hours at a time is not good, it was cold nights when we visited, so when we went out for the night we came back to a very cold room, for the money paid, heating should be controlled by the guest or at least 4/5 hours on time Struggled to get a phone signal as in a valley, so resorted to Wi-Fi which was awful, it was that slow i could not update my iPhone, so be aware of this if you want contact with the outside world

Garden Apartment was an oasis in the middle of old Scarborough town Everything exceeded expectations and we made good use of the private garden which was amazing Both were good hosts and very friendly

Rebecca’s flat is absolutely fantastic. It has everything you need for a short stay in Scarborough. Ideally located within h walking distance of the attractions, it felt like a home. Definitely recommend and would return if going to the area again. Parking is easy too.

Fabulous stay at Jo's place, spotlessly clean, had all the amenities and so peaceful. Loved watching the chickens in the gardens. Unfortunately didn't get to meet Jo in person, but all correspondence through Airbnb she promptly replied to. Thanks Jo, we would love to come back. ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay , Ray very welcoming and helpful then left you alone to enjoy your stay , everything you needed and safe enclosure for my dog , very good butchers in the village lovely walking and Cod and Lobster in Staithes highly recommend , all in all very enjoyable very quiet , private and peaceful would definitely revisit and recommend

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.

Excellent apartment, we stayed for the week as we were going to a wedding in Harrogate. The apartment was so central to everything, the bus station, the train station, and the main shopping area. The apartment itself was equipped to the highest standard, and the extras Maureen provided were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this area. And I would certainly book this place again when visiting Harrogate. Thank you to the host Maureen, your home was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in Cloughton it was lovely. Just what we were looking for in an Air b n b . The accommodation was spacious enough for 2 adults and our wee dog . There was tea, coffee, sugar , salt , pepper, butter , jam and milk . All these items were very useful as it saves you bringing your own. Towels and linen were lush. Welcome pack was extensive and very useful. I particularly enjoyed our bottle of wine too . Very nice touch . Highly recommend John’s accommodation. .

Fabulous place to stay. Calm, peaceful and a beautiful view of the sea. I stayed with my husband and two children and we loved it. Lovely walk to pub down the road and only a short drive to Scarborough, Robin hoods bay and Whitby. Would definitely like to visit again!
