Fed up with tents? Can't justify a motorhome? The Pig Pod is your answer! Situated on our working organic farm on our mini campsite adjacent to our shepherds huts. The Pig Pod is a warm and comfortable bedroom on our campsite including double bed, electric lighting, usb phone charging ports, a kettle and coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge and table and chairs and outside picnic table. Please provide own bedding & towels, keeps price to minimum. Bedding/towels can be provided at extra cost.

Private parking space at the front of the cottage and beyond are large gardens and pond shared by the three cottages on the farm. Excellent pub and village shop within walking distance. Walks to Talland Bay, Polperro and Looe and also a good bus service.

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
