Tiny House: 'The Henhouse' in Geervliet

A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

Welcome to ‘de Hoogt’ in Oud Alblas, a monumental farmhouse in the Alblasserwaard. You can stay at "de Hoogt" in our bed and breakfast. On our property is‘ the Terpschuur ’which we have transformed into a beautiful cottage, where we ourselves during the renovation of the farm for more than two years, they enjoyed living in. ‘ De Terpschuur’ is a 4 person cottage with shower, toilet, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. "de Hoogt" is also a "Peace Point" for cyclists and hikers.

Monumental farmhouse Het Vinkenest in Oud-Alblas, located directly on the water "De Alblas". The mills of Kinderdijk are a few kilometers away and are of course a must to go to. The old town of Dordrecht can be reached by car within 10 minutes, and with 20 minutes you are in Rotterdam. Recently there is also an 8-person boat for rent as an addition. This is the ideal location for a great family weekend and not suitable for groups under 25 years.
