Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oxnard

Very accommodating - listed for three nights we asked for two nights and Robert and Arlina made it happen.

Lovely home in a very nice area.

This was a true vacation. Some places are pretty - this one was gorgeous and super comfortable. The space was so accommodating to us as a family - the rooms to sit, the outdoor table, the upstairs deck, the pool table. I will savor always these memories. The pool table converts to a large table and we had our meals there. The upstairs deck with the fire pit was heavenly - we could hear the ocean. The kitchen has what you need - we were able to have 10 for dinner (local family plus those at the B&B). The beds were super comfortable and so quiet at night - again, with the windows open you can hear the waves. I would LOVE to return to this property. Very responsive management and let us check in early which was so helpful! Thank you for truly a rejuvenating stay!

Great house for our family. All adult children had their own bedrooms, kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the rooftop patio. Very close to the beach, just 1 minute walk.

Beautiful property and great location. My family had an amazing time and really enjoyed the house!

Clean and updated house. Short drive to beach and downtown. Pet friendly which we really liked. Only (very minor) downside is it’s located on a very crowded street so we had to be extra careful with our large vehicle pulling in and out of driveway. But the provided driveway parking was great!

Amazing home totally recommend

Patrese and Katie were great hosts. They responded very fast with very useful information. Our check in process was smooth. The house was beautiful and quiet. There were clear instructions and rules in a book near the frozen door. Multiple power plugs were available in each room and were suitable for different types of chargers. Lots of places to sit with a variety of dishes to choose from. The view of the pool was nice. Outdoor area was our favorite place to stay.

I think one of the strongest points of this Airbnb is the location, although you have to navigate windy roads, you find yourself at the very top of Malibu; the epic views and peaceful vibe make it well worth the drive. The Airbnb sits beneath the main house; although it is private, you are not detached. I had no issue as the host Nicholas is a wonderful man, a great communicator, and was very helpful. A blissful stay for me!

Right on the ocean was expected, but the beach disappears during high tide. Was quiet for being right on the PCH but that is Malibu. Staff was responsible and fixed a minor issue as soon as the daytime staff arrived. All-round good stay...

Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

We visited for our honeymoon. What a wonderful week it was. Waking up every morning to the sound of waves crashing into the beach and watching the sunset over the ocean each evening. We walked to the pier in the mornings and had dinner at Nobu which is also a short walk away. This was one of the most fabulous experiences I have had on air bnb. Zero complaints about this most excellent spot!

Staying here truly made us feel like part of the Ohana. My family and I chose this wonderful house for my Pepperdine MBA graduation weekend, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. We were the first guests after the devastating fires, and Jimmy, along with the neighbors, ensured we were well taken care of. Jimmy has done an incredible job renovating the rental to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Although the area is still recovering, and getting in and out was challenging, Jimmy ensured we didn't face any issues. We spent the entire weekend on the deck, mesmerized by the ocean views and delighted by the sight of dolphins and sea lions. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to the private beach due to the occasional rusty debris washing ashore, which I didn't want my child to play with. We eagerly look forward another stay once Duke's restaurant has reopened. Mahalo to Jimmy and the wonderful neighbors for making our stay unforgettable!

Great location and view from apartment

Although the place was obviously older, they did a great job with decorating it and updating it. Jason was great and very responsive during the stay as well.

Great location, very walkable. And the apartment was a good size and clean. Wish list: more than just one fob to the building would have been convenient. Plus there were MANY lockboxes at the door. There should be an indication of which one belongs to this unit... I wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out! Otherwise, it was perfect!

This Airbnb stay was an absolute gem! The location couldn't have been more perfect. It’s just a short, pleasant walk away from a pristine and quiet beach where we could unwind and relax without the crowds. The neighborhood itself exudes tranquility and safety, making it an ideal retreat. Plus, it’s conveniently close to all sorts of amenities, from local eateries to ethnic shops. Norma and Uni truly went above and beyond. They were incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any queries and catering to our needs. Their attentiveness and hospitality added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful beach getaway or a cozy base to explore the area, this place checks all the boxes. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Perfection. We enjoyed everything about our stay in suite 3. The apartment is well fitted out and is very comfortable. We enjoyed sipping sundowners on the balcony and soothing comfort listening to the lapping waves underneath. The hosts are super responsive and ready to help whenever needed. We’ll definitely be back !!!

David is professional, kind and friendly! The place is super clean well stocked with cooking necessities, rooms have great natural light, and the views are spectacular! There is a sweet library downstairs for kids, best Indian food restaurant across the street with other local restaurants that have excellent menus.. The vibe is cozy and welcoming!

What an amazing location! The water literally comes up to the house. Watched dolphins each morning and loved the recreation area. House was clean and eye masks were even provided for the bright loft. Thoughtful snacks and water upon check-in. Would stay time and time again!

Tom’s place was absolutely amazing. It was so close to Six Flags and right next to all different stores and restaurants. It was perfect. He was always so responsive and answered any questions I have. I will be booking again the next time I’m out there.

Shamim’s place was perfect. It’s a really nice condo in a cute neighborhood. Hueneme beach is indeed only a 5 minute walk from the condo and is a really beautiful beach. The club house indoor pool and hot tub were also a great bonus for our stay. We really appreciate the clear instructions before our arrival and the amenities were nice. The beds were comfortable and the living room with the large tv was nice for a family movie night one evening. The condo is also close to Point Magu State Park which was another highlight of our trip hiking and checking out tide pools. We had a really nice stay and a fantastic trip!

place was so nice and so clean, anything that we would’ve needed to use was also there!! clear intrusions on how to enter and such a cozy place overall :)
