We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

The house is beautifully decorated and was very clean upon our arrival. We were very pleased with the bottle of wine and the snack basket as a welcome. However, the location is very remote. We wanted to use the campsite facilities with our children, and we had to take the car every time. In addition, it is very noisy and the blackout blinds are not completely tight. All factors that do not make the stay with children quite optimal. We did not get the hot tub to temperature even after 5 hours of heating. Nevertheless, I would recommend the accommodation for couples at any time!

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

With a group of friends of 5 people, we stayed three nights in this AirBnB on a small-scale park. There were few other guests in the park, so we could enjoy the nice jacuzzi and garden. Unfortunately, for the (unheated) pool, the temperature outside was just a bit too cold. Inside is a lot of space, the cottage is much larger in terms of seating space than for 5-6 people. The beds (a total of 6 sleeping places) were excellent. With two refrigerators, six burners (gas stove) and a spacious dishwasher, the kitchen was also great, although unfortunately there was no towel or tea towel available to dry the hands and small dishes. It is also nice that there are two toilets (one of which is separate), but the door to the bathroom with toilet cannot be locked and does not close completely. Arrival is fine, with some information from the host in advance via the app and on site instructions to get to the right cottage at the small bungalow park. All in all a great stay in a nice area!

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. The house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

We had a great time in Sneek and the accommodation was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practical. The terrace and the whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks on arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and did a small tour. All around beautiful!

A fantastic holiday home with incredibly warm landlords. We had a wonderful time with 2 small children, 4 adults and our senior dog. Super equipped kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable beds and a great terrace make for a wonderful holiday. Many beautiful experiences are possible around Grou, for people of all ages. But the best thing was the unconditional willingness to help when we were stranded because unfortunately the car key ended up in the trunk, the car locked! Everything in it! And we now had to drive to Germany with car 2 to get a spare key... Thank you Auke & Marie Christine, that we were able to wait safely with you 🙏

The owner Lammert is the best Airbnb owner I have ever met. He is very kind and well prepared for everything in the apartment. The house looks exactly the same as the photos. All the decorations and furniture let me feel like home. Their some beautiful forest close to the house. During morning or evening you could be able to walking in the forest and enjoy the fresh air. Strongly recommend for anyone who would like to stay in this small beautiful town for a nice vacation. For sure I’ll stay in this house for next time.

Very nice location in a quiet village. Leeuwarden is within cycling distance and easy to get to other cities by car. You can charge an electric car at the house: very easy because there are not many other charging points in the village. House is neatly decorated, spacious and looks quite new. Recommended!

What a gem! Truly had a wonderful stay at Jen and Robs vacation house. We enjoyed all amenities like the sauna and the whirlpool and we’re happy to make use of the fully equipped kitchen. We were 6 grown-ups and 2 under 2s and the weather was really not good. And yet we had enough space and the close by waterpark also has an indoor playground. Definitely would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

A beautiful cottage on the Dokkumer Ee. The opportunity to ride a canoe and SUPs is great - right in front of the living room. The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Hagar is even more perfect! A super nice hostess, always explaining things, very helpful.

We spent a few very nice and quiet days in Hotze's accommodation. It is located directly in nature and is very quiet. From here, you could easily explore the surroundings by bike or car. The accommodation looked even more beautiful and larger than in the photos! If we were in the area again, we would book with Hotze again! ☺️

We spent two relaxing days and nights as a family in the cute cottage in Terhakle. The cottage is even prettier in reality than in the photos, the beds are very comfortable, everything was very tidy and clean and we lacked nothing. The area is very quiet, pure nature! From here, you can reach many pretty Frisian towns such as Sneek in a few minutes by car. We will definitely come back!!!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. We had a good stay in Susanna's apartment. The apartment is spacious and perfect for 6 people. The apartment was clean and clear. The center is about 15 minutes walking.

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in Geert's cozy cottage. It is very idyllic and quiet, located directly on a small lake, and we were able to unwind wonderfully. Geert was easily accessible and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. We liked it so much that we booked our next holiday with Geert straight away.

We really enjoyed our month-long stay in Sjoerdtje’s house. What a lovely, cozy place. It felt very homely right away. Being there in winter, we couldn’t make use of the garden, can only imagine how beautiful it must be in summertime! We have been treated to the garden and the surroundings turned into a snowy wonderland, though. For sure we want to be back!

We were in this beautiful house for an extended weekend. Everything is as shown in the photos and as described. The house is top equipped, nothing is missing. The location is exceptional...very nice directly on the water with its own jetty. From there you can make many excursions, cycling, etc. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and with lots of helpful information. We say thank you for the wonderful stay and maybe until next time.
