Sean was a great host, went above and beyond. We were welcomed by a warm fire and a very peaceful home. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a great addition in such a beautiful location. Sean was sure that it was ready for us at the times we requested! The amenities were all top of the range and the cabin was spotless. Our only fault was that we didn’t book longer! Thank you so much for an incredible stay

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

Fantastic place to stay! Located close to Lake Tekapo and lots of other beautiful locations. The house is in a dark sky area and without clouds would offer spectacular views of the night sky whilst enjoying the hot tub. We had everything we needed and would highly recommend this quirky house and had great fun exploring the area and playing the games in the upstairs room. Thank you so much 😊

Absolutely stunning property in a great location as a base for Lake Pukaki/Mt Cook etc. we were very lucky to witness snowfall which made staying here such a magical experience. Property is exactly as pictured and described - super cosy with good heating during winter too.

Amazing location not too far out of town but far enough to be very peaceful. The carriage is super cozy and the fire works very well! Renee is a great host and is very responsive and was very understanding when we arrived a lot later than we anticipated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Nice, cozy and warm. I did not communicate with Sarah after I booked but she did and gave very clear instructions. Spa was great under the moon and stars on a windless still night. Loved the fluffy pillow and duvet covers. Room was clean and bathroom great. Tea and coffee making facilities and milk in the fridge, microwave also provided. A small table and chair available in the room but there was also outdoor furniture for those nice evenings. Overall AAA+++. No cleaning fee so I took extra care to leave it as tidy and clean as I could. Thanks Sarah and highly recommended. Will come again.

Absolutely love the cottage, my best stay in New Zealand. I hope the next many guests could enjoy and help maintain the place like the hosts do. Thank you for providing such places for visitors.

The is an awesome little place, would be recommending to friends and family. Quick access to the dog friendly beach so great to have our pooch with us. Outside seating area was private and appreciated being protected from the wind. The place had everything you could need and more.

Lovely place suited our needs well

We had an amazing stay! This place was perfect for our short stay but definitely would be great for a longer stay. The kitchen was so well equipped (even had a slow cooker), lots of fun games to play, amazing hot tub and beautiful surroundings. Sally was a great host, she gave us lots of tips for the area and was very helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Beautiful spot, loved the hot tub. Very peaceful! Gaze at the stars, the trees have glow worms! check in was mental, lots of dogs, I personally loved it, but if you are not confident with dogs and don't understand them you might be overwhelmed. I prefer dogs over humans.... so no complaints from me. I will return!

Raewyn’s place is the perfect spot for an Arrowtown getaway. It’s super comfortable and has everything you need, in the most peaceful and picturesque setting. Raewyn was friendly and considerate and we had a great time. Also a very comfortable cosy bed! Recommended!

I was looking for secluded solitude, and this Cabin hit the spot. Peaceful among the trees, I loved waking up to the Tuī. The place is compact but well laid out, and the reading nook is especially inviting and cosy. Janey was excellent to communicate with, thoughtful and responsive. It's worth driving the extra 12kms to escape the bustle and selfishness that comes with Queenstown - do yourself a favour and stay here instead!

Christine’s place is amazingly beautiful. Made of huge wooden logs, which were pretty much hurricane proof. Really large upper master bedroom. Pristine bathroom with heated floors. Lots of ammenities in the kitchen, and cosy and warm when we walked inside, what more could you ask for…well actually we wish it snowed when we were there because I’m sure it would have looked amazing, but that’s not the owners fault 😂 There’s a four square grocery store not too far away and restaurants and many gorgeous lakes. Great location and away from the hustle and bustle of big towns. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was nice and cozy, conveniently located near restaurants (within 2km), and the internet was great. It truly had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Twizel in the future!

Every corner of the cabin reflects the unique character of Oamaru, from the vintage decor to the carefully crafted amenities. The cabin may be low in tech, but it excels in warmth and personal touch. The peaceful and private atmosphere allows us to fully unwind, while the short walk to town makes it easy to explore local attractions, including the historic precinct. It's important to note that the cabin is very small, which adds to its unique charm but may not suit everyone's tastes. If you appreciate a compact and thoughtfully designed space, you will truly enjoy it here. We had such a lovely stay at this cute cottage just outside of Queenstown. What a beautiful location! The views were stunning and it felt like the perfect little escape from the hustle of town. A big thank you to Amy, our wonderful host, for how well-presented and inviting the cottage was, was cosy, warm, and had such a homely charm. The only thing to note is that the second bedroom is accessed via a ladder, drew thewhich made me a little nervous (i drew the short straw) & the bathroom is located through the main bedroom. This made things a bit tricky for two adults who aren’t a couple, especially during the night. If it were just me or me & a partner, rather than woth a friend and seperate beds, I’d absolutely come back in a heartbeat. The location, the views, the cottage itself, and our lovely host made it a really special stay. The only thing that could make it even more of a standout would be a spa pool outside..imagine soaking under the stars with that view of the valley.
