From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. This beautiful apartment, located on a serene lake, is a true oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. Every morning we were awakened by the singing of birds, while horses and chickens walked peacefully around the area - a fairytale setting that lets you completely escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And then that sunset... With a refreshing beer in hand, we enjoyed the last rays of sunshine on the delightful terrace, while the sky filled with warm, golden hues. A breathtaking end to the day. This accommodation is an absolute must for anyone looking for nature, hospitality and pure relaxation. We can't wait to return!

The stay was so pleasant, we felt at home and if we needed help or had any questions, we got an answer almost right away, every time. Extremely nice and welcome, the apartment was really nice with plenty of space and everything was clean and tidy. We loved that there was a small basket in the bathroom with necessary items, which we were allowed to use. Would have recommended both the apartment and the nicest host to the highest! ❤️

We were here for a long weekend in connection with the Fredrikstad Cup. Great place, beautiful view and location. We borrowed the canoe and had fun out on the water in the nice weather. The apartment appeared clean and newly renovated. Very nice host. I highly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a house of Gentiana and Ermal, and the experience was truly outstanding. Guys were incredibly welcoming and had thoughtfully provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy charm. I especially appreciated the spacious living areas and the fully equipped kitchen, which made it easy to prepare meals and relax after a day of exploring. The bedrooms were equally comfortable, with plush bedding and plenty of storage space, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of the stay was the outdoor space. The patio was a delightful oasis, perfect for enjoying our morning coffee or unwinding in the evening with the kids. The location of the house was also ideal, situated in a quiet neighbourhood but still within easy reach of local attractions. (i.e. old town of Fredrikstad). Highly recommended!

I was looking for a place to stay where both me and my dogs could thrive. This means that it had to be a cozy house, in an area without cars and where it would be easy to walk the dogs. Jon David's place was above and beyond, the house was big, cozy, and sparkling clean. The location was exceptional for someone who loves beautiful nature. Jon David was also helpful with everything from the moment we arrived until we left. We spent a total of 3 wonderful nights at Jon David's place.

Everything was very nice, my kids and wife were very satisfied, it is a great place for those who will stay as a family and I would recommend it. There was only one problem that stressed us, having the host's private belongings in the house. Thank you very much for having us 😊

We had a fantastic four night stay at the house, with ten persons in our group (three couples and four individuals). Eivind gave us clear instructions about travelling from Oslo S central train station to local station Rygge (a taxi ride or 20 minutes walk from the property). Eivind lives a few minutes away, and met us at the property on this occasion. Eivind and colleagues at Gjesterom (Norwegian for "Guest room") responded immediately to any questions we asked them online - such as information about the air conditioning, checking out arrangements etc. They also offered information about the locality, shops, restaurants etc. The closest 'shop' is the 7-11 at the petrol station just beyond Rygge train station (about 1.1 km / 0.7 miles). Otherwise it's best to get a taxi to Moss to use the supermarkets if you haven't a taxi. We had the very best of stays, thank you, and would definitely stay again. Cozy apartment and nice landlord! Everything was easy and Marina was flexible with check-in and check-out that suited us well! Recommended!

The apartment is centrally located yet quiet. The stop for the (free) city ferry is 150 m away. The underground parking space is also very helpful, as otherwise parking is subject to a fee throughout the city. We often sat on the cozy terrace. Ann Jeanette and Wim were always available and helped with advice and assistance, they were great hosts! We can only recommend the apartment!

Very decent basement apartment that met our needs. Spacious and with plenty of parking space. Most things went smoothly, and when we had questions, we quickly received answers and good solutions. We will gladly come back another time we need to stay in this area.
