Proximity by car to Tusenfryd, Oslo Fashion Outlet, Son, Drøbak, Østfoldbadet, Ski Storsenter, Funplays (large playground) and Oslo. Several golf courses nearby. Short distance to ski slopes in winter.

"Bua" in maritime surroundings!

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand jetty! Bua is a cozy cabin located on Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while you get a taste of boating. Bua is located in connection with the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who are vacationing in their boats. There are bathing facilities on site with a bathing staircase at the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of nice nature with forests, trails and mountains. Parking right by the cabin, with space for three cars. Only 1 hour and 10 minutes from Oslo. Short distance to the marina, Rema 1000 (2 km away) and restaurant/pub. Strømstad is about 20 minutes away by car. 20 minutes by car to the idyllic Old Town in Fredrikstad. There are great hiking and cycling opportunities nearby.

The cabin is peacefully located on Vellebufjellet on Vesterøy. 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach m. The beach is shallow and very suitable for small children. Fantastic hiking areas in the immediate area. walk to Kuvauen, Guttormsvauen, Papperhavn. The cabin has nice grounds with a garden and forest around. Borrow hammocks, kayaks and paddleboards. Very suitable for a family with children. We use the cabin quite a bit ourselves. Rents on request from May-October.

The cabin is well equipped and has a large sitting room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and a washing machine. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom. The sauna is in the side building. The cabin has WiFi.

Beautiful Jeløy is a peninsula in the Oslo Fjord and part of the town of Moss. This beautiful island is located around 60 kilometers from Norway`s capital Oslo only a 40 minute train ride from Moss. Jeløy is known for its good fishing opportunities, exciting biking trails, caves, nice beaches, a pulsating harbor with boats, open farms for visitors with cafèes and galleries. A popular destination where locals picnic.
