The wood stove that crackles in the kitchen is the same one on which mum prepared lunch. She lived on the upper floor and we offer her kitchen with adjoining bedroom and bathroom. Quiet and peaceful in the old timber building. Outside, you can enjoy the mountain views or visit the beautiful church of Frösön, which is next to the rectory where the host couple live with their dogs and cats.

Brattland bike/ski lodge is beautifully located above the E14, about 8 km from Åre village. Car parking is available at the houses. By car, it takes ten minutes to the village. If you want to take the bus, you can get down to the stop at the E14. You can bring skis or snowboards on the bus. In addition to skiing and cycling, you can go hiking, fishing, dog sledding, rent snowmobiles and a variety of other activities. You can also find a jetty to the lake with a scenic beach for taking a bath in the summer or for cross country skiing, ice skating and ice fishing in the winter. Come and live in an own appartment in a house from the 19th century. It has one bedroom, kitchen, livingroom, bathroom and own entrance. We have beds for 4 persons but extrabeds can be provided. It is located in Lit about 20 km north of Östersund with a 3 min walk to busses directly to Östersund's Arena and Östersund city. By car it is a 20 min ride. Sheets and bath towels can be rented.
