Holiday rentals with a sauna in Österåker Municipality

Three of us stayed for a business trip and it was just perfect. Having three double bedrooms and a lot of space meant we had our own privacy as well as not on top of each other. It’s a big, bright, airy apartment and it’s in a brilliant location. It was a little more involved to open up than other places I’ve stayed, first time , but Bella’s instructions made it easy. The place was immaculate - I think it’s quite a new property and cleaned very well always. It’s also 1 minute walk from to Slussen metro stop, which is 2-3 stops from Centrale, so a perfect location to walk to Gamla Stan or get anywhere really. Lovely bakery just on the corner, just by bars and coffee shops and a cycling route down into town. We are likely due back soon and won’t hesitate to book the same apartment again.

Looking for accommodation near our daughter who was celebrating her 40th birthday. This was 200m from our daughter, so it was the main reason we chose to stay here. The apartment was very nice, everything is here, a bedroom at one end with a nice double bed and nice lovely duvet covers and sheets. We slept very well, kitchen that we did not use but that was well equipped. A living room with a corner sofa, dining table and chairs. In addition, a large nice bathroom with shower and sauna. We had a great stay and slept very well. This was far beyond our expectations. We are very happy with our stay. If there are several of us who will visit the daughter at the same time again, we would like to stay here.

My stay at Viktor and Gunilla's place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable long term stay for 2 months. The flat cosy and incredibly bright for a basement flat. I loved the beautiful big bathroom with a sauna as well as a dedicated laundry room. The location was perfect - in a peaceful neighbourhood but only 30 minutes from the city centre by public transport, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Viktor was communicative, friendly, and responsive, always making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Great place, in the center of Stoccolma, an 8-minute walk from the central train station, a cozy place and as in the photos, a very clean and tidy room. I recommend if you're with a group of friends.

Staying here was great. First of all, Janet is amazing , helpful, friendly and responsive. The place is super nice, clean, has everything you need and more. There is also privacy and makes you feel like home. Definitely worth it!

We really enjoyed Kiira's place. Very nice location, fairly close to city center with everything you might need and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended!

Nice and helpful response! Since we arrived when it was dark, it was a bit tricky to find because it felt like you were driving wrong when you drove into the long driveway but daytime everything was clear! Great place to stay! We were four adults who didn't know each other very well and there was plenty of space. Comfortable sturdy double beds in two of the rooms. The extra bed behind the drapery/alcove in the living room worked 👍

The host was very nice and responsive. He helped us with our needs and always had a cheerful attitude. The place is nice, quiet and really beautiful. Rabbits and baby deer can sometimes be seen in the garden. Overall the whole experience was pleasant.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. Peaceful spot right by the water. Walkable to the Metro and Arena. Store is behind the corner, places to snack and bars also close. Appartment is cosy and nicely furnished with Seth being a really pleasant host. I strongly recommend

Sara is a great host, very helpful always answering super fast. the place is great, has everything you need and the location is perfect, super close to the subway and several restaurants and markets I'd definitely come back once in Stockholm again.

This place is great for a short trip to Stockholm, it is very clean, well organized and equipped. It is very well located despite being south of Stockholm, since there is a metro 3 minutes walk away! But you still have to take into account that it's a 120cm bed, but which is very comfortable and enough for us for 2 people of rather large sizes The host is very responsive and allowed us a flexible check-in Don't hesitate for the value for money, this place is really great!!

We were four people who stayed at Annamaja’s apartment, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with the added convenience of free reserved car parking. The best part is the location. The bus stop is literally right outside the main door of the building closer than any I’ve ever seen! However, note that the bus service is available until 18:30. After that, the nearest option is the Axelberg metro station, just a 5–10 minute walk from the apartment. From Axelberg, you can easily catch a metro connection to Stockholm City. The total travel time to the city is about 20–25 minutes by public transport and just 10–15 minutes by car. Annamaja is an excellent host who responds promptly to messages at any time. There’s also a supermarket nearby, only 300 meters away, which is very convenient and within walking distance. We had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay at her place again when we visit Stockholm next time. Highly recommended

This is Airbnb at its finest! Anna is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great stay. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and relax. We only stayed for a week but would have happily stayed longer. The location is perfect for peaceful walks, and getting to the city center is easy and convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’d gladly return and highly recommend it!

Absolutely breathtaking scenery and amazing place! Can only recommend Connie’s beautiful retreat. We visited as a family with 3 little ones and loved it from first moment. Thx and will certainly come back.

We had a wonderful time in Malin and Simon's dream house. It's hard to put into words how perfect it was. Nevertheless, a few highlights: - the sauna house floats on the lake, you can swim in the lake straight after sauna. - the main house is incredibly cosy and beautifully furnished, many small details make it unique. - the lake itself and the (short) path to the lake, past trees, herbs, moss and stones. - Malin and Simon really were ‘superhosts’, although they don't officially have that title yet, always responded extremely quickly and answered all our questions very kindly. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back. It's almost impossible to find a downside. If we had to name one, it would perhaps be that the nearest larger towns with supermarkets etc. are each about half an hour's drive away and we were hardly willing to leave paradise for that long 😉

We had the most fabulous Easter weekend at Lana’s beautiful house. It is in a great location with stunning views. The house itself is really homely but super stylish with lots of cosy corners - and a brilliant Woodburner. The kitchen is really well equipped. We didn’t have a car with us and didn’t need one. Short walk from the boat to the house. And Linanas had a great deli, two restaurants and a much visited ice cream shop. We had glorious walks around the area - even a swim! Lovely sauna for warming up in afterwards. Would love to come back in the summer. It’s a very special place.

We had the most wonderful stay at Benita and Per’s place! First they were both friendly and helpful and responsive and very welcoming. The house is tucked away in a peaceful forest setting - we loved enjoying our coffee outside. But an easy bike ride to Berg for shopping or restaurants and same in the other direction. The newly built house was perfect size for our family of 4. Great amenities, new kitchen, comfortable beds. This is our third year on Möja and we love coming here. So happy to have found a great house and hosts - we hope to return! 🙏🏼❤️☀️

Super cozy and nice accommodation in the archipelago, extremely nice and helpful host. A little tricky addition with your own boat over 7.5 meters, but it worked.

This is a truly beautiful hideaway with fantastic hosts! The house is modern and very comfortable, perfectly suited to relax. Remember you are on an island - If you love spending time near and on the water, this place is for you!

TL;DR: we’re already making plans for the next visit with friends Beautiful property designed for indoor outdoor living. Close to the ferry to Stockholm, a bike rental, and walkable for fit people to all other harbors, a surprisingly well stocked and fair prices super market, and two restaurants. Everyone that we met on the island was super friendly. The hosts were super responsive, helpful and fun to chat to. See you soon!

Pia's beachfront house is private, a bit Mediterranean and yet has everything you expect from a perfect Swedish home: sauna, kubb, boat and flair. We really enjoyed the 3 days. A grandly furnished kitchen and no matter where you were on the property, you were always impressed by the view of the water. The communication with Pia was proactive and extremely pleasant on her part. You had the feeling that she really cared about our well-being. Absolute recommendation and will come back any time!
