Little Red Riding Hood's House - hidden in the deep, quiet forest

Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Natur and beach

Enjoy the silence close to the sea. Nice place to go for a walk. Great nature. Many good bathing beaches close by. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed - and there is a good sofa bed in the living room with room for 2 people. There is a Smart TV in the living room with access to Netflix, Youtube, etc. There is also TV upstairs DVD and/or Appel TV. It is a simple and functional house close to many sights such as Djurs Sommerland, Ree Park, Frigate Jylland, Gl. Estrup, Kattegatcentret etc. There are MTB and Disc Golf courses 6 km from the house.

Trollhøj, open spaces and nature

"TROLDHØJ" is the place where you can escape the stress of everyday life. The house is set back from the road and surrounded by nature, with magnificent views of Randers fjord. The night is dark and quiet and the stars are clear. Terrace on 2 sides of the house, fireplace and plenty of elbow room. 2 km to grocery store, tavern and pizza and 7 km to Udbyhøj with blue flag beach and harbor life. The house is from 2015 and built in larch wood, so there is a nice atmosphere in the house. Here is the basis for a few days of recreation.

Cottage near the beach

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home, with a short distance to the beach and beautiful nature. The beach is shallow, but there are sandbanks about 100 meters out in the water, which can be seen and you can walk out there, at low tide. The apartment is located at the east end of a beautiful farmhouse from 1874 with large garden and outdoor areas. There is a private entrance and south-facing terrace, as well as a bathroom and kitchen with a fridge - all overlooking the garden. Parking is available in the courtyard around a large old lime tree. The apartment is centrally located towards both city and nature - with only 3 km to fishing and walking at Løgten Strand, and about 20 minutes drive to Aarhus and Mols Bjerge.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
