Cozy accommodation in the “caravan”

The overnight stay in the cozy shack at the bottom of a garden. Once you find your private parking spot, you will walk along a small private path Summer evenings can be enjoyed at the campfire. During your stay, you have your own toilet/bath, which is located in the main house, with private and undisturbed access to the bathroom. The home is a few hundred meters from the water. The city center is about 2 km away. Please note there are no actual kitchen facilities for the stay, but there is a mini fridge and some plates/cutlery

Home on a nature plot

Stay in the countryside in our wooden house of 140 m ². The house has three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds, which can be merged into a double bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living room that can be used as needed. Feel free to enjoy our large garden of 15,500 m ² with many cozy nooks and a fire pit. We have 15 hens and a rooster that adds to the rural feel. The house is on one level and has a large, bright living room and a rural kitchen. We live in a former summerhouse on the property.

Orø offers in season a variety of cafes and restaurants, a cozy mini zoo, playground, and child-friendly beach. The cottage is located at the edge of a small peace forest with birds and deer. Large lawn, surrounded by trees. Great to play and play ball on. There is a sun terrace with lovely sun loungers and a covered terrace that provides space for cozy activities. From the house it is 5 minutes to the water on foot to its own beach and 5 minutes by car to Orø's best and child-friendly bathing beach.

As something completely unique, wild mouflons roam the area, so be careful when you drive a car on the roads. They are a flock of about 200. Take the fishing rod and waders with you and catch a fish in Roskilde fjord. If you want to go to the city and shop, it is 15 minutes to cozy Frederikssund.

Get unique nature experiences with your own beach, swim in the lake, go canoeing and kayaking, and hiking in great nature. Plenty of space inside and out. Rustic and charming farmhouse with magnificent views. Rent the cabin in the garden or caravan if you are more than 4 people. Up to 10 beds total. Enjoy the view of lake and meadows, scouting for sea eagles, glents, and many other birds of prey. If you are on a primitive holiday, you can just rent the cabin or caravan.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
