The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Tastefully decorated vacation home with a spacious terrace and views over the IJsselmeer. Please note when booking: The annual Stavers festival will take place on the nearby grounds, mid-June 2026. Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. The eco-friendly cottage is situated in a peaceful setting, yet close to everything: the beach, the woods, the dunes, the mudflats, the nature reserve, and Hoorn's town center are all within walking distance. Sleeping here will be peaceful. The cottage is beautifully decorated with all sorts of wooden elements and fully equipped. You'll truly unwind here and fully enjoy the island. There's a bakery around the corner for delicious rolls, and the supermarket is about a 5-minute bike ride away.

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 6 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

The holiday house is located on the North Holland Canal. The house is not very quiet, but cozy and centrally located to Alkmaar, Bergen and Schoorl. Very suitable for girlfriend clubs, bicycle clubs and families, who do not want to be in a holiday park. The house has many original details, which makes it atmospheric and characteristic. The house is connected to the owner's home, but there is plenty of privacy and a spacious private garden.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back, a spacious garden room with fireplace and next to it a private garden. You can heat the garden room with the fireplace. In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!
