Super clean and tidy, well equipped flat with everything you could need for a few days away. Lovely peaceful location - car is a must to get there but walks from the front door. Great base for exploring lots of places. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Actually, better than home with the beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet. Katy had mentioned you won’t want to leave once you are here and that is absolutely right. We left once to go to Helmsley which is great. Really nice bakery and deli etc. Once we came back we never drove the car again. We have done some really lovely walks which you can do straight from the cottage. The peace and quiet is amazing. The only sounds are the running stream and the wildlife. We have had birds a few times every day, including a robin. We have seen squirrels, a rabbit, a deer and lots of pheasants. At night we have done an evening walk and then sat by the fire pit. We captured amazing photos of the stars. This place was more amazing than we actually realised. It’s been an amazing 4 nights and we are all chilled out completely. Our puppy has loved the walks. Running around after sticks and his ball and then being able to go in the river along the way

This is a wonderful find and Jane is a wonderful host. Genuinely spacious place with lovely decoration, spotlessly clean. I appreciated the warm welcome and thoughtful touches that meant we could settle straight in. We had everything we could possibly need, and a very warm welcome. We only stayed for a long weekend (3 nights) but could very happily have stayed for an extended period. Thank you Jane for the care you take, and for sharing your lovely place with visitors.

We were looking somewhere peaceful for my husband’s birthday weekend and Sally’s place met all our expectations. Instructions how to get into the property was clear and easy that made our check in a breeze. Everything that we needed was already provided in the property. It was raining and windy outside during our stay but the place is so cozy that you wouldn’t mind staying in (not to mention the Father Ted DVD that gave us a proper laugh!). Property was spotless clean. And oh, the cake that greeted us when we got in is such a sweet touch. Thank you a bunch. We are rating the property 11/10.😊
