Holiday rentals with beach access in Okaloosa Island

Five Enthusiastic Stars! This is one of the most enjoyable stays we’ve ever had! Being a short walk to the beach, just steps to the pool from our unit, relaxing and thoughtful decor in a clean, family friendly atmosphere are just a few of the highlights. Every amenity was thought of, and we didn’t have to run out and get any extra supplies to feel at home during our stay.

Great stay! This is our second time staying in this building. The view was great. Everything was exactly as listed. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was nice. Great perks staying at sandestin resort. The wagon with chairs, umbrellas was very nice and handy to have provided with the stay. It made it so easy to take things down to the beach. Would definitely stay again! There was also kids sand toys available so if you have kids they have toys provided for the beach with the chairs and umbrella.

We were nervous about staying on the first floor, but this is our new favorite spot! We were right next to the pool and grilling area and there was a large grassy area for our kids to play. Will absolutely be back!

We had a wonderful time! Condo was very nice and met all of our needs! Easy access, beach was beautiful and a great pool! Will definitely check availability on our next beach vacay! Thank you for hosting my family!

The bunny hole was a great little place to stay, perfect for two people. The location was perfect in a very short walk to the beach. I highly suggest this spot if you’re looking for a getaway.

Our stay at Garrett’s place was genuinely perfect. He thought of every question we had before I even asked it. His communication was top tier and he was extremely helpful! As far as location, you can’t get any better. The condo itself is right on the beach and has everything you could need even including beach chairs and an umbrella. Fort Walton also is located incredibly. It is just close enough to Destin to travel for dinner or even for the day but tucked away in a calm peaceful town with little to no traffic that most beach towns have. The beach that the condo is located on is not crowded at all since it is towards the end of the beach and so it is very peaceful. All around a 10/10 experience.

Stayed in this paradise and was clean, nice views, and an overall great experience! Would recommend staying here has multiple pools as well !! Also has beach access and would recommend the lazy river ! The room has a mini outdoor patio with a stunning view.

Beautiful condo for a couple or small family. Everything you need for a great vacation. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk from door to sand. The condo was clean and updated. The only suggestion would be a bigger bed but we made it work!

Had an awesome stay at Sugar Sand Cottage with my family. The location is great and a short drive to various restaurants and activities. We loved the short walk (5 min) to the private beach with umbrella and chair service each day. The chair attendant had great local restaurant recommendations that we tried. The house is just like it’s shown in the pictures. We loved the layout with the porches overlooking the pond and private pool at night. Nichole was very responsive and can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Destin area.

We had a great stay in Destin! The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. The pool and back deck was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. Patrick was super responsive whenever I needed to contact him. The only negative was that the house is on a busy corner and with it comes a bit of street noise. I was pleasantly surprised however, that everyone slept great all 5 nights of our stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

What a great stay! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed—and more! We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day at the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked, the space was super clean, and the golf cart made getting around so easy (and fun!). They even had all the beach gear ready to go. We had such a great time—we’re already planning our next trip back!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I loved how close the neighborhood pool was to the house and I had plenty of room for my family of 9. The accommodations were perfect and the ice machine was a nice small touch! Would definitely stay here again.

This home is absolutely beautiful! Best air bnb I’ve ever stayed at. Jennifer and Matt put so much love and detail into this home and it shows. I will always look to stay here and will recommend to anyone I know coming to this area!

This penthouse is exactly as listed- it is the most perfect location, just a simple step from the boardwalk, meaning all nightlife and restaurants are right at your doorstep. The dock right below the balcony allows for many activities such as renting pontoons to be just a step away. A 10 minute drive from beautiful beaches, and easy to get anywhere like target or stores, because it’s right on the highway. It was perfect for our large group of 7, and the apartment was super clean. Ryan is very responsive and a great host. Would recommend this Airbnb, and Destin, to anyone! (And the beds and pillows are incredibly comfy!!!!!!!)

Everything was perfect! My family and I enjoyed our stay and the home. We will definitely come back soon. We felt right at home, I would give this home 1000 stars if I could. Thanks again for making our Spring break vacation enjoyable

Kurt & Tara’s place is beautifully updated & very clean. Has smart space saving features which makes the place feel & function much bigger than what it is. It has higher end features like soft close drawers, microwave with convection oven, under cabinet lighting over kitchen sink & huge walk in shower. Balcony is larger than it appears with having a wrap-around corner view of bay side. We searched online for plenty of places in the area & kept coming back to this one. My daughter & I enjoyed staying in this unit. We both felt safe & right at home. Would be happy to rent this exact unit again!

I’ve been vacationing at Destin West Beach & Bay Resort for over 20 years now. I’ve stayed in many different units, but Lyndsay’s place was by far one of the nicest and most beautifully upgraded condos I’ve stayed in on the property. The pictures are totally accurate and there weren’t any bad surprises. Very kind host & responsive. We felt right at home. Only note - all the mattresses could use upgrading - they weren’t very comfortable. It didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment, but it’s worth mentioning. Would still come back! Thanks Lyndsay for everything.

We've stayed in quite a few places along Okaloosa Island in the past. This one is by far the best. Check in was super easy a d Frank was available with answers. Highly recommend. Will book again.

Our stay was just what we needed! The view from the balcony and easy access to the beach was amazing. It was extremely clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great location: three minute, easy walk to the beach. They provide high quality beach gear for your convenience. Very clean unit with all necessities stocked. Elie was very responsive and an accommodating host!

Sam is a super host; highly responsive and attentive to all messages. He’s ensured all of the amenities are spot on for a relaxing vacation. From chair and umbrella service by the waters’s edge to beach towels, toys and sunscreen, it’s easy to enjoy spending time at the beach. The condo is nicely decorated with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds! Will book this unit again on our next visit to Ft Walton Beach!

Nicole & James's place was a great place to stay! It had plenty of room for us as a family of 5, very clean and stocked. Easy beach access, only a few steps to be in the sand with beautiful views! We didn't have to pack a huge cooler with food or drinks with being so close. We were able to go back to the condo to fix lunch & snacks. The 2 chairs & 1 umbrella that was set up every day for us was very handy. We only had to take our kids chairs out to our chosen spot. Loved having a personal waterhose to wash off after a day at the beach. It helped keep the condo clean of sand throughout our stay. Nicole & James sent some great recommendations of places to eat that we absolutely loved! I would highly recommend staying at Nicole & James's Place. We'll definitely be back to stay again!

It was perfect for my family. I appreciated the essentials that I did not have to bring with me. Such as the wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, coffee pods, creamer, and sugar. Definitely bring food seasoning and oils for when you cook your food in the condo. Communication was great and Debra checked in on us before our stay and after.
