Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oceano

I have stayed in a million Airbnbs over the years and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The house was impeccable, pristine and so beautiful. The view is incredible. Sitting on the patio at night and watching the sunset or sitting in the hot tub under the stars was the best part of everyday. However, as incredible as the house was, April and her team were the real stars. They were so responsive to all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. I have never had such a responsive and caring host. I will be dreaming of coming back here as soon as I can! Book it, you will be so glad you did!

Great place for a family gathering.

Place was beautifully decorated. The place made you feel like staying inside all day. The backyard made me feel like I need to redo my own backyard in inspiration of this one. There is everything you might need in this place. The beds are extremely comfortable, the place smells nice too. I definitely recommend staying here, I would stay again. Thank you for such wonderful accommodations. I will see if you have any others to check out also.

We enjoyed our stay, the property was clean with enjoyable spaces and equipped with helpful beach gear(chairs, towels, toys for kids). The check-in, check-out instructions and expectations were clear and reasonable. Exploring the beach (a few houses down to beach access) and nearby restaurants was relaxing. The beach could be driven on, wish we had researched that better, and brought our 4x4 family vehicle. We would recommend.

Jacob’s place was comfy and cozy, and a great spot just off the main streets of pismo. Everything was as expected and Jacob’s communication made the whole process a breeze. A beautiful and comforting place that I will be returning for in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Tracey’s home, not that far of a drive to Pismo Beach. Tracey was very helpful and responsive when need. Their home has everything you need. We really enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit in their beautiful backyard!

We had an amazing stay. The space is close to restaurants and supermarkets and close to the beach. It is a very convenient location. We can park inside the garage so no worries about the parking. The kitchen got everything in it: microwave, big fridge, oven, rice cooker, pots and pans, utensils cups and plates, and dishwasher. The only down point is that the kitchen sink faucet is a little wobbly , so you need to use with care. The bedrooms are nice and clean and the bathrooms are also clean. The 1/2 bathroom downstairs is a big plus , especially for a large party like ours. Upstairs bedrooms are carpeted and downstairs is wooden / or tile. So the house rule is not to wear outside shoes upstairs in order to keep the carpet clean. Mike is very pleasant in allowing us to bring our own indoor slippers to wear upstairs. Overall it’s a nice convenient space and we had a great time here. We definitely recommend this place and would stay here again

Might be a little pricey, but this was an amazing stay. This is the second time staying here and we would choose to stay here anytime we are in town. This is a wonderful spot to take the family tucked in a beach town just a few minute drive to Oceano beach and the Monarch Grove. great place to stay!!

Diane's Nottage was the best Airbnb I've stayed in recently - I am a clean freak, and this place did not disappoint! The ample counter space in the bathroom was a pleasure, as was the big, new shower and comfy living area. She clearly labeled all of the light switches which was a huge help. I loved the backyard garden and the overall layout of the Nottage - It felt so private and safe. I now want more reasons to visit SLO so I can book Diane's home again!!

Had a fantastic time! The kitchen was fully stocked and they graciously provided a variety of snacks. They also had all the beach essentials from towels to boogie boards. The location was perfect, with the home right by the water. Also extremely walkable to nearby shops and restaurant. Hosts were super helpful and responded quickly. Parking not an issue. Would definitely stay again!

Sherry was one of the best airbnb hosts I ever experienced, she really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. The unit was very clean and well-equipped. The living/dining area was somewhat on the small side, so I wouldn't recommend for more than 2 adults and a child, but it worked great for us! Would absolutely stay here again. Location is very convenient, and there is a really nice walking trail in the open space behind the property. We had a great time in SLO!

This was our second time here and it's just as we remembered. We loved sitting outside next to the lavender enjoying the sunset. Great private location!

We loved our 2 night stay in this charming apartment with its overgrown flowering entry, bubbling fountain, cozy interior, and proximity to the heart of town. Parking was easy. The clawfoot tub was a smidge hard to shower in with the handheld shower only able to rest on the low spout tap, but our expectations of historic had been set appropriately. We were thankful for the floor fan during the heat of the day when we came back for siesta. The bed filled the bedroom but there was plenty of space to spread our items out in the sitting room. We didn’t end up needing the kitchen but appreciated the mini fridge and extra sink. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the place. It was very quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean. Trish and Terry had great communication. 10/10

The room, bathroom and kitchenette was more than enough space to relax and spread out with extra chairs and table and way more closet and drawer space than we’d ever need. We were even treated to hot-from-the-oven homemade muffins from Amalia which was an unexpected and nice surprise along with fresh locally roasted coffee, teas and other snacks. A travel suggestion of theirs made our return trip more scenic and enjoyable too. Great hosts, we recommend this place and will stay with them again.

We loved our stay at Marianne’s flat! The apartment felt spacious, clean, and had beautiful views. The location was ideal, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Marianne was very responsive and accommodated a later checkout time. We’d recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the view and watching all the happenings on the beach, talking to neighbors and the staff at Slappy’s next door and our evening campfires. We will definitely be staying here again! There are 2 parking spots in the garage ideal for smaller cars or SUVs and a lot across the street that charges $20 a day where we parked our Tundra.

10/10 amazing place! My family and I loved it as soon as we walked in. Very beautiful, clean, and a cool experience. Our plan to go to the beach went away and all we wanted to do was to stay at the house. So cozy and relaxing. Felt we were inside a magazine! A dream vacation and stay. Beds were comfortable, everything was working, plenty of towel, walkable to shops and beach, the rooftop was so fun and cool! Nothing bad to say about this place and in fact we want to come back! This was our third stay at this beautiful Pismo Beach condo, and it truly feels like our home away from home. It’s become our favorite spot for our annual summer trip, and each time we return, it somehow gets even better. We noticed a few thoughtful updates since our last visit, and everything was just perfect. The view from the dining and living room is so stunning, we never even feel the need to go out for dinner—we’d rather enjoy every sunset right here. The place is fully stocked with everything you could need, making it easy and comfortable for our little family of four. We already can’t wait to come back!

We went to Ca. to visit our son and for medical check-ups. We had a marvelous time. Sleeping in such a peaceful location played a large role in our bonding and recuperation. Lots of pinochle and dominoes. All together we had a wonderful 2 weeks and would recommend Rachel's Cozy Condo to anyone.
