Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ocean Isle Beach

Caleb's house was clean, comfy, and close to groceries, shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood is very walkable...much appreciated for our dogs. The fenced back yard was a bonus. The house is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen well stocked. We felt right at home, and would stay here again.

Kert's house worked perfectly for me and my family. I'd categorize this place as a "home", not just a house. My grandchildren called it "Grandpa's house". Our stay was relaxed and comfortable, just what we were looking for. The kitchen and dining room were ideal for our family meals. The bikes were also a big plus for us. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

The house was even better in person! Jessy was super responsive and gave clear instructions. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The backyard was private and so peaceful! Our boys loved the pool and riding around the island on the golf cart. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Monica’s place was great! The house was nicely decorated and clean and cozy. The location felt safe and close to local activities. Monica was very helpful and responded quickly when we had an issue with the heat. I would definitely stay here again!

Can't say enough about this BnB! We travel a whole lot and often with our pups. This place was perfect for relaxing at the beach with our dogs - it's fenced and clearly set up for furbabies - even an extra leash and poop bags as well as a ball and some bowls. Many beach places smell a little due to moisture and this place did not at all! It is well laid out for multiple guests too. The labeled kitchen supplies were awesome and everything was in order and made sense. We loved relaxing on the deck overlooking the canal, the extremely short walk to the beach, the very comfy couches and having a general store so close. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Definitely 5 stars! We love a place that is privately owned vs owned by a corporate company and we could tell this beach home is well cherished. Thank you for sharing it with us!!

We lived our stay in Carolina Beach @ Kevin & Katie’s place! We had plenty of room for our growing family. Enjoyed the grill and fire pit behind the house. Found fun things to do locally - beach, park, & aquarium. We would definitely recommend to others and will come back ourselves!

Highly recommend this gem. Just like the photos and reviews with an added sweet surprise of snacks and wine. Location is perfect—walk or bike to beach is easy and pretty. Quick drive to downtown riverwalk and restaurants. Loved the porch—great in any weather with snippets of the shimmery intercostal water. Rainy day was even nice as the place has all amenities and movies are a close drive. Fully stocked and well-organized kitchen and bathroom supplies. Very comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood at night. Depending on when you go, there is a school next door that has playground sounds and early morning bell with principal announcements. Gives you a feeling of the community but worth noting if you’re not a morning person. Anne and David were great hosts. They offered great suggestions and have an informative guide. A+ visit to Wilmington

Very clean home, comfortable beds, lots of space, well stocked kitchen. Loved the split air units and the ceiling fans! The deck was great and the basement/garage was clean and clutter free great for the kids. Short safe walk to the waterfront and close to stores! Terrell was a great host, very communicative and responsive we had 0 issues with our stay!

Second time staying here, and we still love the lovely house, the location, the views of the canal and OIB. Plenty of space for our 6 member family, close to beach (3 minute walk), private canal pier. Highly recommend, just make sure to pack toiletries and linens!

This is a beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. Short walk to the beach and canal. Golf cart is definitely worth having as everything you would want to do is just a short ride and offers free parking. Home is equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and private. Great if you have kids. Homeowner is great as he always responded quickly to any questions I had prior to our arrival. Once you are there, the detailed instructions provided will guarantee a great stay. Definitely recommend and hope to return again.

We loved our stay here! Such a cute and comfy cottage, perfect for a beach trip; it comes stocked with pretty much everything you could ask for. Loved that it was walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, as well as beach access points, while also being tucked away down the street for a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. My family took an off season visit to the beach and we had great time staying in this beautiful , clean cottage! Perfect location close to everything. The golf cart definitely is a great plus. The host were very responsive and helpful, the instructions are clear and easy to check in too. Highly recommended !

We thoroughly enjoyed our time! It was extremely clean and you could tell that much thought went into every detail. If you are looking for quiet home with great outdoor space, walkable to the beach and a 20 minute drive to Southport…Mikes place is perfect. We had four kids with us, ages 1, 3, 4, 4 & and it was a perfect setup!

Clay is a great host, very prompt. House is as described and perfect location in Ocean Lakes so much fun stuff to do and the gold cart was perfect to get around.

Second stay at Scott and Brittany’s place they are great hosts the cottage has everything you need and more Love the location close to beach and other amenities, view from the back deck Is absolutely stunning. We will be back next year.
