New, sunny loft apartment in the historic center.

This was my first time in Mexico. This air bnb is conveniently located in the heart of Centro, which is a "hub" of Oaxaca, walking distance to most things. The local tour agency is literally across the street from this bnb and has amazing half-day & full-day tour options to all the local attractions. The tours pick you up & drop you off at this bnb. The air bnb loft is modern & updated; perfect size for 1-2 people. Alvaro is an excellent host. He responds promptly to any and all inquiries and is very kind and helpful. This air bnb was a perfect spot to stay to explore Oaxaca.

Casa Bravo

We spent 5 nights and 6 full days at Don Rogelio's apartment. He has been a most welcoming host: accommodating both our early arrival and late departure most kindly. There are many wonderful things about Don Rogelio's place: 1. it's old-school airbnb - you meet the host and he lives across the atrium garden. 2. everything is 1-3-5 short city blocks away: museums, churches, restaurants, cafés, bookstores, music stores, food stores, etc. 3. it's near all meeting places for any tours you may wish to take. Here are a few recommendations: *for your stay: bring your own body lotion *for bread: Boulenc, just 1.5 blocks away *for organic cheese etc. - right next to it *for fresh seasonal (often wild and handpicked) produce - Mercado Sánchez Pascua *for cultural/archeology/nature trips - Fernando Mendez at Tour Oaxaca (don't confuse it with Oaxaca Tours - although they are good, too). We cannot wait to return to this apartment in November.

Martha’s place was absolutely amazing! The perfect location walkable to shops, restaurants etc. It was the perfect oasis retreat from busy days of walking around the city. Martha was a very responsive and kind host and would definitely book her place again and recommend to others!
