Welcome to our family cabin on beautiful Blefjell – a peaceful place with a great mountain view, very good sunshine and nature right outside the door. Here you can enjoy quiet mornings, long days in the mountains and evenings by the fireplace or in the wood-fired hot tub under the open sky. The cabin is secluded with a view of Jonsknuten and the Telemark mountains, but at the same time only about a 1.5-hour drive from Oslo. There is a road all the way to the property and plenty of parking space on the private property.

Ørnehytta - Blefjell

Ørnehytta is centrally located on Blefjell, completed Christmas 2022. 400 meters to Gvelven Kro. The cabin is perfect for several families or companies on teambuilding. The cabin has 18 beds, and the Annex offers 4 extra places with private bathroom and kitchen. Enjoy amazing craftsmanship with carved eagle wings and an impressive eagle head on the roof. Ørnehytta has a sunny location, large terrace, fireplace, handmade dining table and a well-equipped kitchen. Outdoor hot tub and barbecue area provide fun on the trip.

The cabin has a fantastic view of the water and towards Gaustatoppen. The cabin area is quiet and calm with few other cabins. The panoramic view from the large windows in the living room is absolutely outstanding, and you can enjoy it both inside the cosy living room and outside on the large veranda. I hope my guests enjoy the view and the pleasant environment inside and outside. The jacuzzi is available to guests from September to April each year The cabin was completely renovated in December 2025

Designed with families in mind, our cabin is primarily rented to families with children and those who appreciate a peaceful, family-oriented environment. This is not a party cabin.
