The Stable, 1700s log cabin by the lake with sauna

A small log cabin on a historic crofter's farm by Follsjø – a lake for swimming and fishing. The Stable sits slightly tucked away from the four other timber buildings on the property, surrounded by a wildflower meadow and grazing sheep. A newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet is in the barn, just 15 metres away. Outside, a lovely seating area with a grill awaits. The cabin, built in 2014, is beautifully situated by Holmevatnet at Fagerfjell with a view down to the lake. The cabin has all modern amenities, parking right outside the door, and sleeping space for 9. Swimming opportunities are right below the cabin, and ski trails are on the other side of the road. Excellent sun conditions, with sunlight all day from sunrise until it disappears behind the trees around 21:30 in the summer. Idyllic both in summer and winter! 1 hour and 50 minutes from Oslo.
