The Stable, 1700s log cabin by the lake with sauna

A small log cabin on a historic crofter's farm by Follsjø – a lake for swimming and fishing. The Stable sits slightly tucked away from the four other timber buildings on the property, surrounded by a wildflower meadow and grazing sheep. A newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet is in the barn, just 15 metres away. Outside, a lovely seating area with a grill awaits. The area is made for hiking, fishing, swimming and quiet days. Canoes at your own risk; wood-fired sauna available to rent.

Excellent sun conditions, with sunlight all day from sunrise until it disappears behind the trees around 21:30 in the summer. Idyllic both in summer and winter! 1 hour and 50 minutes from Oslo.
