Rly lovely host, enjoyed our stay

This was a fantastic find! Hotel upgraded me to a room with an en suite with shower which was fantastic (had originally booked a room with a shared shower). It is right next to the drop zone where I had a skydiving competition for the weekend, so great location for me and the man in reception on the Friday night was kind enough to stay as they usually close at 11pm but I was driving up from Southampton after work so wasn’t able to arrive until closer to midnight. He gave me my key and showed me to my room which was great, especially after such a long drive. The weather was terrible on the Saturday but we found a massive brand new gym down the road where you can pay £7 for a day pass, and there’s a big cinema a short drive away so lots to do on a rainy day. Parking free and in a hotel car park, perfectly safe. Great value for money and location for skydivers.

This is an exceptional chalet and Jennie is absolutely lovely and very customer focused and super responsive. The little details and all the provisions are superb. The hot tub and grounds are stunning and the walls just gorgeous. We were gutted to leave and would love to come back.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Why would you not want to stay in an incredible castle, with great food and drink on site, local amenities and lovely helpful staff! Would recommend and definitely come back again.

I came to the Mallard Lodge with my husband, 2 lads and their partners to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. This lodge was clean, homely, comfortable and very well equipped in the kitchen, bathroom, living room and on the family games front too. The lodge is situated in an area so peaceful and beautiful surroundings and an excellent area for some great walks. We were even greeted with a big, fresh loaf of bread, a lovely Victorian sandwich cake, eggs, butter, sugar, tea, milk and coffee - such a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing, clean and under cover - which was useful especially when it rained one night!! Jenny and Selena have been so helpful before our trip, on check in and offered lots of advice on local events and amenities. We would have no issues coming back here, in fact ‘we will be back’ Thank you Jennie and Selena - don’t change - you do a fabulous job in making your customers feel very welcome.

We only stayed one night with Gina, but would have loved to stay longer if we had more time. Communication with Gina was perfect, we had all the information we needed in advance of our arrival and we were able to be flexible with the arrival time too. Our room was wonderfully well equipped and warm, with a comfy bed and spotless modern bathroom, the breakfast was of exceptional quality with a lovely choice of home made jams and marmalades. Meeting Norman the dog was a real treat too, he was so friendly and pleased to meet new people it was a real treat for us. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, we had a walk along the promenade at Withernsea which was lovely despite the icy wind, and a splendid walk right down to the tip of Spurn Point. We would highly recommend Gina's place, and would love to visit again in the future.

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Beds were comfortable, able to to have coffee and tea in the room. Cafe next door that is cheap and nice for breakfast. Easy to find and parking was very useful!! Would stay again.

check in was so simple and the digital guest info was brilliant. The holiday home was well located to the amenities and cayton bay itself was very clean and tidy. The property was very clean and tidy. Great communication throughout the booking process thank you

Nice caravan close to the park very well equipped especially if you have young children with you.

If you’re looking for a quiet place with a friendly atmosphere that’s filled with a lot of natural lighting plus energy, this is certainly the location to visit. It being my first time visiting i must say the customer service was splendid, much appreciated been hosted here I advice you too to check it out.

It was perfect for our weekend away, I have to admit after booking and realising it was on a Park Dean resort we were a bit apprehensive after a past experience. But I have to say it was a fantastic site, all staff that we had contact with were friendly and helpful. To top it all the caravan was perfect, really cosy, great balcony to sit outside on. We hopefully will be coming to stay again. As Cayton bay and the surrounding beaches are beautiful. Just a shame we didn’t get better weather. But still had a great weekend away. Our son described it as the best place ever!

We had an amazing stay at Lijie’s place. Beautifully decorated, spacious & very comfortable; centrally located. Lijie was very warm & welcoming, as was her spouse Kostas. And at their restaurant Albion, right next door, we enjoyed some absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend this wonderful place, a home away from home, & we would choose it again next time we are in Sunderland!

Our stay here was lovely!! absolutely beautifully decorated and really private and quiet. Although just off the main road the room is really well soundproofed so we couldn’t hear a peep! The bathtub was amazing and felt such a luxury we loved this feature! Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay near scarborough or just on the yorkshire coast!!

We had a lovely stay for a night at No. 3, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The outside space was nice to have, and the location was spot on - very quick walk into Whitby centre. I'd stay again and would recommend it!

Our second stay here. Brilliant stop over on our way South. The room is clean and comfortable. Super comfy bed and pillows! We love the little balcony where you can watch the sun set. The restaurant/bar has great beer and the Haddock Thermador is to die for. Friendly, helpful staff. We will stay here again! Brilliant. Thank you!

Even before we arrived Barry was so great to communicate with. We arrived a bit early and he was so flexible about us getting in. The lodge was beautiful and had everything we needed, the surroundings so peaceful as we walked to our private hot tub in our special Brook Bottom dressing gowns. We relaxed listening to the bubbling brook and really chilled out. To make our stay even more special I had a treatment with the lovely Michelle, she was so lovely and accommodating. If only we weren’t 3 hours drive away I would become a regular. Thank you Brook Bottom for a wonderful treat. ❤️
